Expert Analysis
Miles Masercola | Prep Hoops Scout
Jacobson gave this team a big spark with his ability to help initiate offense along with the clutch gene as he hit a one legged three at the horn to open the event with a big win for Burlington Christian over Charlotte Christian. Jacobsen has touch from the outside, does a solid job touching the paint and making decisions with the basketball. He should be a big contributor for this team at the PG position and use his leadership to help establish chemistry with the other new pieces. Jacobson is a gem to watch in NC’s 2028 class.

Jacobson is a crafty, highly skilled, gritty guard who plays a very physical style for a smaller guard. He possesses a high basketball IQ and shoots it very efficiently (40% from 3pt and 78% from FT in 2024-25 while averaging 16ppg). His ability to navigate traffic and make great decisions on two feet offset any lack of size.

Jacobson was a glue guy for his Team 4 squad with his ability to defend multiple roles and dial it up from deep when called upon. He didn’t force much when he was on the floor and played under control when the ball came his way, showing off his ability to knock down shots off the bounce and on the perimeter. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on at Cedar Ridge High in NC’s 2027 class heading into a new season.
