Out of all of the elite talent that was at the event, this article is highlighting the top players from Team 5. Lets find out what they did.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1756347"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1756347' first='Deke' last='Thompson'] put on the best performance that I saw yesterday. He showed that he is a versatile two-way player. He impacted the game in every area. In a game that his teammates were struggling, he managed to score 30 points. He made it look effortless while he did. He showed off his ability to shoot the ball, as he regularly knocked down shots. He was making his threes: both catch and shoot and pull-ups. That translated to his mid-range game, where he was using his size to do that over smaller competition. Late contest and even light contest did not faze him. His ability to drive and finish at the basket in traffic was on full display, as he reflected his talent as a three-level scorer. On the defensive end, he was an elite perimeter defender that showed the ability to force turnovers and switch on ball screens. There were times that he would effectively fight through ball screens, as well. It was a regular occurrence for him to come away with blocks and steals. The last area that he impacted was with rebounding, where he excelled. In the first game, he finished with probably 30 points, 15 rebounds, and a few assist. He should have been flirting with a triple double, but his teammates struggled to shoot the ball and score at the basket this game. It was an elite performance and makes it very intriguing to see what he does for his new team, the Sandites, this upcoming season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1625042"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1625042' first='Diezel' last='Davis'] was Mr. Reliable for his team. In both games that I saw him play in, he looked to control the pace for his team. He would make one play after another, acting as a great playmaker and also showing the ability to score. He was a reliable shooter and playmaker, but also showed the ability to get to the rim and finish in traffic. In one game, he knocked down three three-pointers and a couple of more in the other game. On defense, he was harassing the ball-handlers and forcing turnovers. Despite not being the tallest player, he was not afraid of any challenge on either end of the court. He has a consistent motor that seemed to never slow down. Even when it was obvious the other guys were tired, he was still going full-speed. He was one of the best playmakers that I saw this weekend.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2211007"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Anthony Wind Jr. was a swiss army knife for his team. He is a guy that would set his teammates up with good passes, knocked down a couple of threes, and provided hustle plays. Despite making a couple of threes, his shot has a lot of room for improvement, as it is a little unorthodox. The reason that I mention that is not to criticize his game, but to follow that up and say that if he gets the right shooting coach around him, he has a chance to be a reliable shooter. There were flashes there that showed promise to build off of. He played very well on the defensive end, forcing a couple of steals and playing good perimeter defense. He grabbed a few rebounds over the court of the games. He is a player that provided a little bit of everything and has a lot of untapped potential on the offensive end.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":2213090,"_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Walker Strelow","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Broken Arrow","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"Team First Oklahoma","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Walker Strelow provided decent rebounding for his team, but in the second game I saw, he showed the ability to knock down shots. What he lacks in size, he made up for with heart. He hustling for loose balls and rebounds. As for his shot, he showed to have a smooth jumper that was reliable for his team. Rebounding and shooting is the main things that he provided for his team.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":2213100,"_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"Carter Mardis","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"6'5u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"77243","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Jenks","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"Oklahoma Run PWP","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Carter Mardis has good size and utilized it well. He would get good positioning and grab rebounds or reach over the opposition with his length to grab the boards. Whenever he would get an offensive rebound, he would turn that into second chance points more often than not. He had several second chance points and rebounds, but arguably his biggest impact came on the defensive end. He would provide good help, which occasionally led to him forcing turnovers. To go along with that, he had multiple steals and blocks. There were several times that he had great shot contest that would force misses. He also knocked down a three pointer. His impact was felt in several areas over all of the games.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65125085aa71a"} /-->
