Of the more than 200 prospects that attended NorCal had 50 or more prospects listed in the camp packet. We had good representation for the West Coast premiere event for Frosh/Soph players. NorCal had 9 players in the top 60 game 4 in the 2026 class, 4 from the 2027 class, and one 8th grader.
Ahmari Otis Ahmari Otis 6'0" | PG De Anza | 2026 State CA-N 5’11 2026 Guard, De Anza: Like many good young prospects at this level, he had his ups and downs. He played well in his first game, leveled off a bit, but still played his way into the top 60 game. He’s a rising prospect in this 2026 NorCal class. His slick handles, and speedy moves with the ball makes him hard to guard when he gets things going. He’ll score from different areas on the court. He’s fast in transition blowing defenders, and finishing. He’ll finish in different ways at the rim, using his body and either hand. He’ll knock down open 3’s.
Aaron Banks Aaron Banks 6'2" | CG Artesia | 2024 State CA-S 6’0 2026 PG, Prolific Prep: He’s a fast moving guard with quality handles and vision for passing, as he’s in constant attack mode to go all the way. He has good speed and lengthy arms that works for him on both sides of the ball. It was our first look at the newcomer. He could be a pass first point guard, but has ways to keep defenders honest with his ability to get into the paint, and hit the mid-range jumper.
Brennan Williams Brennan Williams 6'3" | SF Bellarmine | 2026 State CA-N 6’3 2026 W/F, Bellarmine College Prep: He has size and is probably still growing. He played on balance, still learning how to use his body. He shows a set of skills to grow his overall game. He defended bigger players, had good movement on the defensive side, had good off ball help. He rebounded, showed decent handles pushing the ball up court, and passing. He had a few good drives to the basket, he has a jump shot. We’ll see more of him
Blake Bastani Blake Bastani 6'4" | SG New Hampton | 2026 State CA-N 6’4 2026 SG, Miramonte: The sharp shooting guard from Orinda played his way into the top 60 game because he’s a threat to knock down 3’s, when he puts up a shot. He had his fair share of 3’s during this event. He had a couple of takes off the dribble, we saw good passing, and he found ways to involve himself when he wasn’t knocking down 3’s. At 6’4 he’s got the length to help on the boards, and distract shooters from the wings and corners.
Heath French Heath French 6'3" | SF St. Pat-St. Vin | 2027 State CA-N 6’3 2027 Guard, The Branson: It was our first good look at the incoming Freshman. He’s a quality ball handler, plays at a fast pace. He can go left or right on the attack. His foot work and balance were good after getting into the paint finishing off one and two feet. His head is up while pushing and looking in transition, he’s a willing passer. His lengthy arms, and foot speed helps him to defend and get rebounds.
Ryan Sevilla 6’0 2027 PG, Dougherty Valley: He’s a shifty point guard with excellent ball handling skills, and speed to get defenders off balance with his slick moves to create shot opportunities for him self and others. He has a series of moves he uses when he gets into the paint, floaters, paint jumpers, fades, and finishing high off the glass. He’ll knock down open 3’s in transition.
Nathalio Gray 5’10 2027 CG, The Branson: NJ has a good set of tools for the guard position, he plays at a good pace, makes good decisions, doesn’t force things. He sees the court to deliver good passes. He has a good set of handles and movement to create shot opportunities form himself and others. He had some success driving and putting the ball up high off the glass over shot blockers, he’s handling contact on the drive. He went coast to coast a few times, and knocked down open 3’s.
Camden McKinney 6’6 2027 W/F, Dougherty Valley: He’s one we’ll keep an eye on going forward. At 6’6 and growing with some seasoning he can take his game to another level. He plays good all-around basketball. He has the skills that allows him to be a threat in different areas of the court. He has balance to plant, set himself and finish inside. He has the touch to knock down the short jumpers from the sides and in the paint. He finished with a few dunks in transition. He rebounded, lead the transition break a few times, passing it up and kept coming to finish the play. He has 3 point shot making abilities, he hit a couple.
Andre Amesquita-Carter 6’2 2028 8th Grade Head-Royce: He’s ready to be a contributor at the high school level right know. He has the body and a good set of tools to which he will expand upon by the time he gets to high school. He’ll do good things on the JV team. At 6’2 he’ll grow and get stronger, he moves well on the court. He’ll attack the rim when the opportunity arises from different angles, along the baseline and in transition, he can handle contact and finish above the rim. He’ll shoot 3’s if open
