Owen Anderson
Owen Anderson
After catching Anderson a little bit this summer with the Nebraska Supreme 15U squad, I am excited to see him play again this weekend at the EXPO. While he plays behind some older guys at Millard North, he is a talented combo-forward with a lot of potential. He’s incredibly dynamic and efficient offensively, with the ability to score inside and out. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions due to his versatility. I expect a nice outing from him this weekend.
Marquis Toliver Marquis Toliver 6’0″ | PG Creighton Prep | 2024 State NE is as consistent and reliable as they come at the point guard position. When I caught him this summer with the very successful OSA Klein squad, he always was in control of the pace of the game. Toliver can score it himself, and also create for others. I am excited to see him play this weekend, and expect him to have a breakout senior season at Creighton Prep- one of the most respected programs in the state.
Lazerek Houston Lazerek Houston 6’0″ | PG Lincoln Norttar | 2025 State NE is a stud with an expansive offensive skillset and crafty game. He ran with ETG this summer: the top 16U squad in the state. He will be one of the top prospects at the event this weekend. I expect him to standout and cause a lot if problems for opposing players. Look for his name to pop up in tweets and articles throughout Sunday afternoon.
Highlights
One of the more underrated prospects in the 2025 class is taking the court this weekend at the Prep Hoops EXPO in Bellevue, Nebraska. Cooper Mroczek Cooper Mroczek 6’6″ | SF Elkhorn South | 2025 State NE is a long and versatile forward who seems to be improving at a fast rate. He was a stud when I caught him with OSA Brewer this summer. I expect him to have a breakout junior season at Elkhorn South. Watch for his name to be brought up often this weekend.
Ammi Williams Ammi Williams 5’10” | PG Bellevue East | 2025 State NE is a prospect that seems to keep getting better and better. With a big junior season on the horizon at Bellevue East, he will look to put his talent on display this weekend. He’s a tough, skilled point guard with a winning mentality. Currently, Williams is listed as a top 30 player in his class, but has the potential to seriously boost his stock in front of scouts and college coaches.
