In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Liberty Christian Lions.

Quick Hitters
- Finished 16-10 last season
- Lost to Fountain Central in Regionals
- Three straight Sectional championships
- Norman Anderson returns in his 2nd season as Head Coach
- One of the favorites to win Class 1A State
Top Player: Devon Kelley Jr.
Kelly Jr. is 6’3 senior forward who returns as a 3 year varsity letterman and 3 time sectional champion. The strong athletic forward is expected to lead a younger LCS squad with his experience. Kelley has an opportunity to be one of the top break out players in the class of 2024. His ability to finish at the rim, stroke the jumper, and defend multiple positions has intrigued collegiate coaches.
Potential Breakout Player: A’Marien Page
Page is a 6’7 junior forward transfer that is expected to play a big part for the Lions this year. Page has flown under the radar and poised for a breakout season. Page runs the floor well, finishes, rebounds, and protects the rim. Keep an eye out for Page.
Other Important Roster Members
- Tywaine Fuller Tywaine Fuller 5'9" | PG Liberty Christian | 2027 IN – 5’9 PG Freshman, nephew of former Mr. Basketball, Kojak Fuller. Fuller is expected to play major minutes at the point for the Lions. Fuller is lightening quick with the basketball, finishes well at the rim, has a tremendous pull up jumpshot, and defends at a high level.
- Tamarje “TJ” English – 6’3 G/F Freshman, who slashes really well, gets to his spots, finishes strong, and reounds at a high level. TJ will make a strong case as a top 20 kid in the class of 2027 Indiana class.
- Kendrick Martin Kendrick Martin 6'0" | PG Liberty Christian | 2027 IN – 6’3 G/F Freshman, who slashes really well, plays both ends of the floor, and has a knack for finding ways to score without the ball in his hands. Look for Martin to also make a strong case as a top 20 player in the class of 2027 in Indiana. Along with Fuller and English, they can arguably make a case as the top trio in the 2027 class.
- Jaloni Dixon – 6’2 G Sophomore, will provide quality minutes in the backcourt for the lions. Jaloni has the ability to get hot from 3 point range.
- Jordan Haralson Jordan Haralson 6'1" | SG Liberty Christian | 2026 IN – 6’5 F Sophomore, brother of LaLu standout Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN . Jordan will help fill out the front front court and be a major part of the Lions rotation.
- Jerramie Johnson – 6’2 G Senior, coming off injury this summer is looking to get his spark back the upcoming season.
- Marquis Kelley – 5’10 G Junior, will help to round out the backcourt for the lions.
