may be the best guard in the in-state 2024 class. He is an explosive, dynamic playmaker with high-level end-to-end speed and the ability to get up and finish around the rim at the end of his drives. He is a left-handed guard that is very talented with the ball and will be a perfect fit for an up-tempo offense. Last year as a junior he averaged 17.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game and those numbers are expected to go up in his senior season. He will even be committing to a college today from one of Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Le Moyne, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Purdue Fort Wayne, SIU-Edwardsville, Southern Indiana.
Potential Breakout Player: Kolt Nelson
The 6’6 Kolt Nelson is a good post complement to Davis. He is a athletic power forward that is long and lanky. Battles on the defensive end and has some pretty moves around the rim. Another standout to me was his shot blocking ability because can stuff the blocks on the state sheet and is a natural at locating the ball. He could be in line to benefit from having Davis as a teammate and breakout this season.
Notable Games (Confirmed)
- at Noblesville (11/25)
- at Center Grove (11/28)
- at Bloomington north (12/16)
- at Plainfield (2/16)
