Unafraid of contact. Needs to bulk up a bit. His team was severely undermanned in their opener, playing with just six total players while other squads dressed 7-8 guys. Team 1 took a drubbing, but Poore recognized the need for his assertiveness. Poore showed off some handle and wizardry. Creative. Tactical. Clever. Ref called foul, but it looked ferocious, nonetheless. He was forced to defend a 6-foot-9 player in spurts and did ok. Gaines is a natural 2-guard. His game is comfortable at that position and yet he can still improve his dribbling and break-down maneuvers. Getting faster with the dribble. His team struggled in the opening game mightily. Mancell did not let up or give up. The intensity continued until the final horn. Skilled as a wing guard. Capable on-ball defender, though Boyce Jr. blew by him with ease once. He was one of the few to give [player_tooltip player_id='1140748' first='Kendrick' last='Lloyd'] a challenge. Lloyd was scoring on everybody in their opening game, except Mancell. Made sharp passes with either hand. His left-handed crosscourt pass gave Tyshaun Poore an open corner three-pointer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1904052' first='Abe' last='Reinbold']</strong> (Cleveland)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cut sharply away from the basketball. Showed off a smooth turnaround jumper, though it missed. Defensively, he is a half-step slow guarding short, quick guards. He will be taller than most point guards, but his value to college teams will climb if he can keep 1's and 2's in front of him consistently.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fantastic cutting without the basketball. Consistently. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1503911' first='Dillon' last='Butler']</strong> (Tipton-Rosemark)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wonderful passer. Dillon was part of one of the most exciting plays. <a href="https://balr.co/LB1UiTpMfDb">Watch</a>. Didn't commit turnovers often at all. Eager to make an unexpected pass demonstrating ideal unselfishness.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Solid user of the backboard from those angled jumpers from short-mid range. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two-foot leaper.
