I will be posting evaluations based on what I observed from every team that participated in the DMV Top-250. Here is a look at those who played on Team 9.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574509' first='Jayden' last='Brown'] | St. Anne's Belfield (VA) '26

Brown is a long and lanky guard with sneaky athleticism. He had some of the more impressive finishes I saw at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147448' first='Seth' last='Burtin'] | Blake (MD) '24

Burtin was dangerous as a three-point shooter. He was effective at spacing the floor properly and did not take long to release the ball from the catch.

Keshaun Cheek | Martinsburg (WV) '25*

Cheek is a left-handed guard who operated nicely from ball screens. He got frequent paint touches where he was a threat to either score or set up an open man.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148711' first='Josiah' last='Gomillion'] | Ballou (DC) '24

Gomillion is a 6'4" forward who competes with a high motor. He was solid defensively and on the glass. I liked that Gomillion didn't need the ball to make an impact on the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148702' first='Davin-Bruce' last='Kess'] | Southern (MD) '24

Kess is a guard prospect who impressed me with his shooting and playmaking. I noticed that he holds his follow-through on his shot and is a quick thinker who keeps the ball moving quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148730' first='Cooper' last='Konetschni'] | Mountain View (VA) '26

Konetschni is a 6'3" guard with a nice feel for the game. He is an efficient scorer who uses his size to exploit mismatches from inside the arc but can also hurt you with his spot-up 3-point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895358' first='Colby' last='Margenau'] | Potomac Falls (VA) '24*

Margenau is 6'7" with the tools to be a game changer on both ends of the floor. He will check every box on the stat sheet while giving you maximum effort on each possession.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601160' first='Douglas' last='Powell'] | New Covenant (VA) '24

Powell is a 6'6" forward who moves bodies in the paint, is productive as a rebounder, and is relentless as a finisher. He is also capable of being the hub of an offense. Powell's passing was one of my favorite parts of his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148851' first='Ashley' last='Sims II'] | Riverdale Baptist (MD) '25

Sims does a bit of everything well at 6'8". He is a grab-and-go threat who is geared towards making plays for others. Sims can also change gears and exploit 1v1 matchups at will.
