The event featured high level competition and great games, as well as prospects for colleges of all levels moving forward.
Here’s a look at part two of some of the top 2025 performers from the VA schools at the event.
Camryn Pacheco Camryn Pacheco 6'4" | CG Spotswood | 2025 State VA | 6’3” CG | Spotswood
Pacheco and his Spotswood team look to be a threat in Class 3 to make a state championship run, and coming off an All State sophomore season he had two impressive performances against very good teams and looks to be ready to take another jump this year. The 6’3” combo is a natural scorer who can play on or off the ball and knows how to create space, he shoots it very well from deep when he’s left open and he has good body control and the ability to make tough shots in the midrange. He scored the ball well while also making plays on the defensive end too.
Donovan Richardson Donovan Richardson 6'6" | PG Steward | 2025 State #166 Nation VA | 6’5” CG | Steward
Richardson is the big transfer that Steward brought in after making a run to the VISAA Semifinals last year, and he’s one of the more versatile guards in the entire state. At 6’5” he can get to spots in the midrange and use his size to rise up and knock down shots, he has good wiggle off the bounce to get in the lane where he’s an athletic finisher and he’s an unselfish playmaker as well. He does a good job of picking his spots and scoring it efficiently while also running the show and making others better.
Xavier Nelson Xavier Nelson 6'4" | SF Steward School | 2025 State VA | 6’3” WF | Steward
Neson has been very impressive in the two fall league sessions so far for Steward, as he’s been their most consistent player from a production standpoint across the board. The long 6’3” wing plays with a great motor on both ends of the floor, and he has great instincts and just happens to be in the right place at the right time. He gets his hands in passing lanes and contests shots, he is a very good rebounder for his position and he is a versatile shot maker as well.
Ben Vaughn | 6’2” WG | Steward
Vaughn is going to be the x-factor for Steward this year, as he’s a hard playing and athletic guard who does the dirty work and gets after it on both ends of the floor. He’s an explosive athlete who thrives in transition and can get downhill aggressively where he uses his athleticism to finish at and above the rim. He does all the dirty work and makes the hustle plays, and he doesn’t need to be a main option offensively to make an impact.
Mason Patrick Mason Patrick 6'4" | SF Trinity Episcopal | 2025 State VA | 6’4” WF | Trinity Episcopal
Patrick is looking like he could be a breakout player in the Richmond area this year, as he had a good sophomore season and has only improved over the summer. He’s a big wing who is a talented shot maker from multiple levels, he gets hot quickly and can fill it up in bunches and he can put it on the deck and get to spots to create shots for himself. He shoots it well from deep off the catch and he’s a good rebounder and defender too.
Parker Cage Parker Cage 6'1" | PG Hayfield Secondary | 2025 State VA | 6’0” CG | Hayfield
Cage is part of a group of younger Hayfield players that have been waiting their turn on the back-to-back state champions, and he showed what he can do on Sunday as he was absolutely lights out. Cage is a knock down shooter from deep who works well to get open off the ball, can step into shots off the bounce and he has effortless range and the ability to get hot from deep and take over games. He hit 8 three-pointers in their close loss to Miller School, including 5 straight in 5 possessions at one point.
