Kenny Thompson Kenny Thompson 6'9" | PF Blair Academy | 2026 State NJ , 6’9 Blair Academy
Thompson is the top ranked power forward in the class and has the potential to have a big season. The 6’9 forward has a nice touch around the basket and routinely draws contact down low. Thompson runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks and layups in transition. He uses his length to block shots around the basket and works for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Thompson is a lanky forward prospect who should make an impact at both ends of the floor throughout the season.
Jayvon Rampersant Jayvon Rampersant 6'7" | PF Hudson Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’7 Hudson Catholic
Rampersant has the potential to have a breakout season as he should get more touches on the offensive end. The 6’7 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and can finish around the basket. Rampersant sets good screens in the half court and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Rampersant is a physical, forward prospect whose ability to impact the game down low will help his stock in a big way.
Logan Franz Logan Franz 6'10" | PF Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’10 Rutgers Prep
Franz is one of the most interesting prospects in the class with his combination of size, length and athleticism. The 6’10 forward has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and get to basket. Franz has a good touch around the basket and is able to draw contact down low. He creates second chance opportunities for his team on offense and blocks shots around the basket with his combination of length and timing. Franz picked up his first offer a couple of weeks ago and his offer sheet should grow with his ability to block shots and finish around the basket.
Jayden Teyan Jayden Teyan 6'6" | PF Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’6 Rutgers Prep
Teyan has the potential to play either down low or on the wing, making him an intriguing prospect to watch. The lanky 6’6 forward has a solid handle, which he uses to get to the basket and finish. Teyan is capable of drawing contact around the basket and has a nice touch on his free throws. He has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Teyan’s ability to make an impact at both ends of the floor is something that will help his development in a big way.
Derek Gomez Derek Gomez 6'5" | PF St. Peter's Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’5 St. Peter’s Prep
Gomez is part of a talented Marauders’ roster that is looking to defend it’s Non-Public A North title. The 6’5 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers from behind the arc. Gomez finishes nicely around the basket and does not mind drawing contact down low. He holds his ground on the defensive end and rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Gomez’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock throughout the 2023-24 season.
