Continue ReadingAn impressive offseason could lead to a big senior year. Brentis emerged as Langston Hughes’ go-to guy during the GBCA, averaging 14.5 points per game to lead the Panthers. He averaged 7.5 points as a junior as a change of pace guard with expanding three-point range.
Highlights
The Class 4A Second Team All-State selection carried the Titans throughout the season, recording robust stat lines, not just as a scorer but across the board. Carter has blossomed into a three-level scorer. He’s crafty and tough downhill. An underrated aspect of his game is his ability to block shots.
Johnson looks more than comfortable at Rockmart after moving in from Paulding County. He’s a high-octane scorer that has the neon green light from beyond the arc. Sam has filled it up at the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League, averaging close to 20 points per game while leading the league in three-pointers made.
Scott brings elite speed and shiftiness to the Banks County backcourt. He’s the catalyst for the Leopards, able to break down his man off the dribble and get into the lane where he can kick to open shooters. Scott’s activity atop the zone is paramount to applying ball pressure.
Thompson is a true specialist. He’s a knockdown three-point shooter if given a glimpse. He must be ran off the line at all times. He’s one of the best three-point marksmen in Georgia.
