(1) Matthew Hurt of Rochester JM (Memphis Hustle). Played two years at Duke and was named to the All ACC First Team as a sophomore. Originally signed a two way deal with Houston out of college, is now with the Memphis Hustle. Averaged 14 points and four rebounds a game last year coming off a knee injury. Shot 59 percent from the floor, 39 percent from the arc.
(2) Zeke Nnaji of Hopkins (Denver Nuggets). A first team all Pac 12 player in 2020 and a first round pick of the Denver Nuggets in 2020 (22nd overall). Won an NBA championship last year with the Nuggets averaging five points and 2.6 rebounds a game in 53 games. Was a part of the middle of the season rotation but not the playoff rotation.
(3) Tyrell Terry of DeLaSalle (Stanford). Tyrell was a first team All Pac 12 Freshmen player in 2020 and went into the NBA Draft after one year. He was drafted 31st overall in the 2020 draft by the Dallas Mavericks (first pick of second round). (4) David Roddy of Breck (Memphis Grizzlies). Roddy was the Mountain West Player of the Year at Colorado State in 2022 and went into the NBA Draft. Roddy was picked 23rd in the draft by Philly but was quickly traded to Memphis. Last year Roddy averaged 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds a game shooting 43 percent from the field as a rookie.
(5) Tyler Wahl of Lakeville North (Wisconsin). Wahl will be in his fifth year at Wisconsin this winter. Last season Tyler averaged 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds a game shooting 42.3 percent from the field. He has been a Badger starter the last 2.5 years.
(6) Jamison Battle of DeLaSalle (Ohio State). Battle will be at his third school for his 5th year of college basketball this winter. He was at George Washington for two years and Minnesota for two seasons, and will now be one of the better small forwards in the Big Ten. Averaged 12.4 points and four rebounds a game last year.
(7) Robert Jones of Prior Lake (Iowa State). Jones started at Denver where he was mostly a full time starter scoring nine points a game both years. He has then been at ISU the last two years as a reserve big. Last season Jones averaged six points and four rebounds a game. He has one year to go.
(8) Courtney Brown Jr of East Ridge (UST). Brown will be in his fifth year of college basketball this winter. He started out at Milwaukee where he started 30 games as an underclassmen scoring five points a game. Brown then moved back to the Twin Cities averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds a game last season in his first year of playing at UST.
(9) Antwan Kimmons of Tartan (Concordia-St. Paul). Kimmons played three years at Northern Iowa and was a solid reserve for the team before family circumstances brought Kimmons back to the metro. Last year at CSP Kimmons scored 21 points a game shooting 53 plus percent from the field. He has one more year to play
(10) Isaac Fink of Springfield (Augustana). Fink has started 86 of the 102 games he has played at Augustana averaging a dozen points a game for his career. He’s a career 39 percent three point shooter and last year averaged 14 points, eight rebounds and 2.5 assists a game as a first team all league player.
