Harry Geng Harry Geng 6'1" | PG St Johnsbury Academy | 2024 State New E , 6’2 G – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2024
The lefty is one of the top guards not only up north but in the whole state. Geng is a fluid playmaker who creates a ton of offense with his multi-level scoring touch, smart decision making, and court vision. Moreover, he moves well off the ball and makes plays quickly off the catch. Geng is an agile defender with nice length, able to guard multiple perimeter positions and turn defense into offense. I’m excited to see him come winter.
Rex Hauser Rex Hauser 6'5" | SF St. Johnsbury Academy | 2025 State New E , 6’5 G/W – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025
One of VT’s top talents, Rex Hauser Rex Hauser 6'5" | SF St. Johnsbury Academy | 2025 State New E . The kid does it all. His decision making offensively creates high efficiency scoring at each level alongside fantastic ball movement and playmaking with a certain ease to it. Hauser has shown he can orchestrate the offense, play post positions against zones, etc., you name it, he can do it. Same defensively. He guards essentially 1-5 around VT, can hound guards and jump passing lanes in the fullcourt, protect the rim, and rebound the rock. Rex is among the top talents.
Will Hughes, 6’0 G – BFA St. Albans Class of 2024
A true PG, Will knows how to quarterback a team on both sides of the ball. The floor general’s facilitation of the offense is crisp with his dialed in passing ability, sense of tempo and time, and slashing prowess. Furthermore, he’s a tough finisher within the second layer where he can hit pull-ups and lose defenders with nice footwork. With an everlasting motor and savvy anticipation defensively, Will keeps offenses wary. Hughes is a tough matchup on both ends.
Jerrick Jacobs, 5’9 G – Richford H.S. Class of 2025
Probably the most agile player in this group, Jerrick moves with a quickness that’s hard to contain. Jacobs gets to his spots with ease, both as a gritty + athletic slasher and as a shooter. His finishing at the rim is exceptional, and when defenses send two or over-rotate, he’s bound to pick a pass out. On the other side of the ball, Jacobs leaves it all on the floor with his rugged and disruptive defensive work. Two-way toughness.
Xavier Hill, 6’2 G – Hazen Union H.S. Class of 2024
A battle tested guard who’s been deep in the playoffs with two finals appearances and one D3 State Championship under his belt, Xavier Hill. He’s a natural PG who facilitates the offense intuitively while balancing his own shooting. The lefty sees the floor well and makes plays for others + he can create his own scoring too. A lanky defender who disrupts offenses, rebounds the rock, and forces turnovers, Hill is another guy who impacts the game in myriad ways.
