Connor Denis, 5’10 G – Otter Valley Union H.S. Class of 2026
Connor stepped into a starting role as a freshman last year and hasn’t looked back. Denis relishes tough assignments and pressure situations, often matching up with the opposing players best perimeter player and hounding them all game. Plus, he’s not afraid to take big shots in crunch time. Furthermore, he’s a competent facilitator of the offense, can create in a pinch, and seeks to make the right play.
Noah Jenks, 6’1 G – Hartford Union H.S. Class of 2026
Noah’s pairing with Fotion in Hartford’s backcourt can turn any game into a track meet. Jenks is a combo-guard with a savvy handle, able to create a bunch in transition, hit shots off the catch, or puncture the second layer in the halfcourt. Noah finishes fairly well at the rim with his athleticism, and he hits open shooters on time and on target. Moreover, he can really apply pressure defensively with his quick footwork, length, and agility, plus he’ll hit the glass. It’s off to the races from there.
Peter Guay, 5’10 PG – West Rutland H.S. Class of 2027
A pure PG, Peter knows how to make those around him better. But first, Guay’s a capable scorer with his savvy finishing around the rim and in the short range. Plus, he knocks down the open 3 off the catch. Yet he creates so much for others too; Guay’s always reading the defense and intuiting rotations, so he sees passing windows to bigs and shooters before others and knows how to get them the rock. His tough-minded, team-oriented approach carries over to the defensive end with his work both on and off-ball, and on the glass.
Andrew Barker, 6’3 G/W – Fair Haven Union H.S. Class of 2026
Barker quickly stands out as a wiry shooter with microwave tendencies. Andrew does most his work off-ball, using cuts and screens well to create space for shots, yet he doesn’t force, can finish at the cup, and is a good decision maker with the ball in his hands. Plus, he’s proven to be a utility guy who can stick to shooters defensively, provide boards, drop a few assists, and catch a block or two around the rim. Barker is a high-IQ guy who produces on both ends.
Shemar Sookdar, 5’10 G – Mount Anthony Union H.S. Class of 2025
I haven’t seen much of Shemar, but I know he can put it together offensively. Sookdar is a smooth scorer who knocks down looks inside and out, plus, he’s a savvy distributor who whips feeds through coverage and into shooting pockets or dump it down for bigs. Shemar’s shown he can lock in defensively too, and when it’s time to run transition, he’s all there.
