Haidin Chilafoux, 5’11 G – North Country Union H.S. Class of 2025
Haidin’s growth as a playmaker continues to impress. Chilafoux orchestrates the offense nicely and he knows how to create looks out of the pnr. His shooting touch from deep and the mid-range is fluid, and his close-range finishing continues to sharpen. Plus, his ability to create offense off-ball seems to come naturally with his use of screens and timely cuts. A measured defender with nice IQ, Haidin is an effective and instinctual player on both ends.
Jackson Hoag, 5’10 G – Lamoille Union H.S. Class of 2026
I haven’t seen a ton of Lamoille basketball but I’ve gotten to see a good bit of Jackson over the Spring + Summer; his court presence and leadership is easy to spot. He’s a confident floor general with his crisp ballhandling and scoring prowess. Hoag organizes the offense nicely, makes smart decisions, and finds his scoring inside and out. And defensively, Jackson can stick to ballhandlers hips and draw them out of their comfort zone. Simply put, I like his upside and am interested to see his game shine even brighter.
Brendan Moodie, 5’8 G – Hazen Union H.S. Class of 2025
Moodie has that competitive nature, that never-back-down mentality that we all love to see. Brendan is a cognizant combo-guard who’s just as impactful on the ball as he is off of it. He’s a competent orchestrator who can get guys the ball in their spots. Yet he’s also a strong catch and shoot guy who utilizes screens and reads coverages well, able to stick jumpers at each level. Defensively, Brendan scraps, reads passing lanes, and understands rotations intuitively. High-IQ kid right here.
Kerrick Medose, 5’10 G – St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025
A gluey guard who greases the offense and stitches the defense together, Kerrick brings a smart, measured approach to the game. Medose is a natural orchestrator and ball mover who sees the floor, providing teammates with good opportunities often. Moreover, Kerrick hits his open looks with solid efficiency off the catch. On the other end, his smarts and team play remain present. Medose rotates well defensively, providing timely help, and does the little things to patch any holes up. Medose takes care of the little things.
