Prep Hoops' 2024 class ranking now consists of 90 players. Over the next school year we will add another large group to the class. Senior year will give the following guys a chance to earn that honor.

Morice Ayers, 6-foot-5 forward, 2024, Wellington:

You can't help but be impressed by Ayers' athleticism. He pops out at you when he's on the floor. He's long and an effortless riser. In club action he shows a level of comfort facing the goal. He can pop the midrange jumper or put the ball on the floor. Once he's around the goal, he's got easy explosion. Ayers hasn't had a lot of opportunity at Wellington yet. But due to graduations, he's one of the few returners with much experience. If he gets an opportunity and can put things together, he could be a surprise player as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301597' first='Ethan' last='Koehn'], 6-foot-3 forward, 2024, Circle (pictured):

Koehn brings a lot of intangibles to the table: toughness, intelligence, unselfishness and versatility. He can play a handful of positions and guard just about anyone on the floor. Koehn hasn't been a featured part of the Circle team yet, making most of his contributions on defense and rebounding. But he's skilled with the ball and can shoot it from the perimeter, which can make a big man a particularly effective weapon.

Isaac Martin, 6-foot-3 forward, 2024, Hugoton:

Hugoton graduates a couple of stars and will be looking for guys to step up. They have a few 2024s who could be considered here, but Martin might have the most potential to rise. A big, powerful football standout, Martin was a key contributor on the state title run as a junior, particularly with his defense and physicality against opposing bigs. He should get a lot more opportunities at the offensive end as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1773693' first='Aiden' last='McKee'], 6-foot-1 guard, 2024, Mulvane:

McKee has spent some of his career in the shadow of teammates, but he busted out as a junior with some really impressive games. He's a long-armed guard who really disrupts on the defensive end. On offense, he pushes the ball aggressively and dishes to teammates on the run. He can also get hot from deep and rack up a lot of points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1300863' first='Jacob' last='Padilla'], 5-foot-8 guard, 2024, Hayden:

After disappointing injuries have robbed some of Padilla's playing time, he must be chomping at the bit for his senior year. He's a tough-as-nails football player who brings that attitude to the court too. He has a really solid handle and knowledge of how to distribute the ball. He was ready for varsity as a freshman and only injuries have kept him from being more widely appreciated. Due to graduations and departures, Hayden will need him to have a strong senior year.
