Dillon Tingler Dillon Tingler 6’7″ | SF Huntington Prep | 2024 State #299 Nation WV has been on a wild recruiting ride for the last 18 months. The native WV blue-chipper who transferred to play at Huntington Prep likely made a life changing decision that propelled him into the national recruiting scene. Listed at 6’7″ or 6’8″ (depending on the recruiting service) Tingler has the length of a PF but certainly has the skill set and tools for a wing. Guard ball skills and a dazzling finisher in the lane, Tingler has long entertained crowds displaying his plethora of scoring methods with his height setting him apart from the typical wing recruit. Already D1 offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, Ohio U., Marshall, New Mexico St, Tingler will make a push to get a P5 offer this winter or spring.

Jayallen Turner Jayallen Turner 6’5″ | SF Charleston Catholic | 2024 State WV is solidified as the #2 guard/wing in WV for a couple reasons, he has to high ceiling that could allow him to see lower level D1 schools start to give serious consideration. Secondly, Turner is labeled by many as the state’s best defender. Standing at 6’4″ Turner clamps down on defenders whether on ball or not and has the physical traits of a college player already. An athletic and strong finisher on the offensive end, Turner can fill it up when needed, but we think based on our opinions as well as many others, his defensive skills are what can propel him to the next level above his current D2 and NAIA offers from WVU Tech, WV St, Clinton College.
Bryson Smith might be the most intriguing of the group. A long rangy scoring wing, Smith could possibly have the highest athletic ceiling out of this group as many believe. Smith elected to take a prep year at Moravian Prep and reclass which should work out to his favor. Already with offers from Salem, Concord, Bethany, Potomac St, Kentucky Christian, Smith will look to elevate himself to high D2 or lower level D1 status after a prep year that will season him with serious competition and time to get his body college ready. Smith led a talented group of South Charleston Black Eagles in scoring almost every time out last season and displayed his ability to truly score at all levels. If Smith can elevate his defense to a higher level, look out, the coaching parade will proceed to Smith’s residence to court his services.

Jackson Clark Jackson Clark 6’3″ | SG George Washington | 2024 State WV who’s already been mentioned by us recently as a Breakout Player Candidate, also will play on the roster that most consider the most talented in WV. We’re interested to see how he adjusts his game and slides out to a true guard position while GW boasts real size and post players that will allow wings to scale the perimeter freely looking for shots and opportunities to slash through a defense. A deadly shooter who’s comfortable anywhere on the floor, Clark will be trouble for many opponents’ defenders with size and strength that is typically seen at the four spots in WV.
