Last season, the KGE 24 camps was a huge success and the top incoming seniors got a chance to see what it would be like at the college level plus gain a wealth of knowledge in doing so. This year’s field of incoming seniors is packed with elite talent plus guys looking to get more exposure. The best players in the 2024 in-state class will be under one roof this weekend. Here is part 3 of my players to watch this weekend.
Highlights
Murans, a 6’7 wing, comes into this weekend as one of the few players that plays for Kyle Guy’s AAU program. For his size and skill level, Murans is one of the more versatile wings in the state and in my opinion has shown some major improvements this summer. The improvements that I have seen mainly come from his increased strength and physicality which has helped take his game to that next level. His versatility allows him to play both inside and out on both ends of the floor. Murans is a dark horse this weekend as far as players who have the best showing at the KGE 24 Camp.

Bowels is another one of the few players participating in the KGE 24 Camp that also plays for Kyle Guy’s AAU program. At 6’2,

is one of the more explosive guards in the in-state 2024 class and his elite athletic ability makes him one of the toughest guards to go up against. He often defends very well on the ball and his lateral quickness is a major advantage of his. Bowles is a very underrated guard in the 2024 class and he is only getting better and better. Excited to watch what he does this weekend.
Johnson could make a case as the most unknown players but his play this summer has really boosted his stock in the in-state 2024 class. At around 6’6, this power forward has a skilled inside-outside game and the ability to stretch the floor while having the size and footwork to finish around the basket consistently. He is good on the roll or when rim-running in transition. He saw a major boost in the Prep Hoops 2024 Rankings due to his work this summer and could continue his breakout summer this weekend.

Speaking of stock-risers, there are very few players in the in-state 2024 class that has seen his stock rise higher than Pendleton Heights power forward
Josiah Gustin

. He is a mobile, versatile power forward that scores on the pick-and-roll, drives it from the elbows/wings/short corners, and rebounds well in his area. His improvements that he has shown over the past year has gotten him D1 attention as well. Admittedly, have not watch much of Gustin so this weekend provides a good chance for me to get some eyes on him.
Highlights
Parrish, a 6’3 guard out of Chesterton, is is one of the most pure shooters in the state and has some sneaky athleticism to go with it. He is also one of the bigger stock-risers in the in-state 2024 class and his play over the past year for both Chesterton and Grand Park Premier has rewarded him. He is also a guard with just extremely great footwork and an ability to make plays when he has the ball in his hands while also being a high IQ player. The KGE 24 Camp should be very beneficial for Parrish.
