By now people should already know about Taj. Even though he hasn’t played an official varsity game just yet, the freshman has a chance to become one of the top players in his class and will be arguably one of the most impactful freshmen in Georgia this season. The springy lefty dominated inside against the Cherokee Hawks, collecting 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Taj explodes off the floor, a threat to dunk everything. He erases shots with his quick leaping and outstanding wingspan. Saragba is a foul magnet due to his activity inside. He has a nice touch from the foul line, making teams pay. Woodstock has a burgeoning star.
Hakeem has gotten better each and every week. He totaled 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 46-38 win over Darlington, using his length and athleticism to control the paint while also showing upside as a potential perimeter player. The junior is a trackable prospect for D-I and D-II programs.
Julio was hard to corral in a 48-43 loss. Victor is quick and slick, able to split defenders when getting to the rim and use crafty footwork to free himself for scoring chances. Victor scores with both hands and changes directions quickly with his eurostep. He netted 18 points.
The chase for the three-point lead is heating up. Hayden Hughes Hayden Hughes 6’2″ | SG Union County | 2025 State GA erupted against Union Grove II, netting 7 threes en route to 24 points and 7 rebounds. The three-point specialist surges into first-place with 12 made threes. Sam Johnson is hot on his tail with 11 while Dean Soulsby Dean Soulsby 6’2″ | SG Allatoona | 2025 State GA has quietly canned 10 triples over three games and is in striking distance. There are big-time shooters scattered throughout the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League. Who will ascend to the top?
Expect to see Jax’s name on this list every week. The star posted 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 64-56 win over Whitewater. Jax leads the league in scoring (25.0) and now ranks second in rebounding (9.7).
Isaac loves playing in the aux gym. He lights it up every time he’s in the band box. Plavich torched the nets with 25 points, moving him into third-place in the scoring title race, averaging 19 a night. Plavich has taken a huge leap forward this season after showing flashes a year ago. The 4.4 GPA junior will be hearing from colleges sooner rather than later.
