As AAU tournaments wind down through the summer and the fall season approaches, high school basketball enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the start of the upcoming hoops season. With state-wide competition just around the corner, Prep Hoops Scout Drew Johnson will showcase some of the post-spring and summer stock risers that have gained interest and offers during the offseason. Observing which players will ascend to the top and establish themselves amongst their peers will be intriguing. Who will emerge as the star player of the season? Only time will tell. Let's get into some of the risers that have caught my eye in the past few months!

Buchanan is an explosive and underrated guard prospect with decent size and skills to be productive at the next level. Has made strides this off-season putting in work with Team [program_tooltip program_id='2076419' first='Judah' last='Nation'] as he looks to dominate his senior season for an uptick in interest/offers.

Anroman is a leader on the hardwood that exerts good quickness and body control to handle the rock as a reliable point guard prospect. Has made plenty of noise during the off-season, earning his name on the riser list. A sleeper prospect that should see an uptick in interest this season.

Morris continues to impress during the AAU off-season with Born To Impact Elite. Provides a solid defensive component as well, college coaches need to get eyes on him.
