The Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase is a series of events geared around incoming 2027 prospects that will be getting ready for their first year at the high school level. Our goal is to get those talents on our radar quicker and on the radar of coaches around the country. This Sunday, our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase will tip-off at Fishers High School with nearly 170 of the best prospects in the Class of 2027. Let’s begin to preview the great event by highlighting some of the top players to watch at the showcase.
Peyton Auler (Tipton H.S. 2027) – Auler is a talented point guard coming off of a strong summer with Grand Park Premier . The 6’1″ playmaker is very comfortable with the ball in his hands either as a scoring option or when creating for his teammates. He showcases high-level court vision and good passing ability when he gets into the teeth of the defense. Look for Auler to display his ability as a lead guard on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
Jeremiah Bellamy (North Central H.S. 2027) – Bellamy suited up with North Central’s varsity squad throughout the summer and proved himself ready to hold his own from day one at that level. The physical lefty wing has good size at 6’3″ and a lot of offensive talent both from beyond the arc and when finishing around the basket. He will have a chance to prove himself as one of the prospects in the gym at our event on Sunday.
Erivon Burks Erivon Burks 6'1" | SG Kokomo | 2027 IN (Kokomo H.S. 2027) – One of the most talented young players in the Kokomo area, this 6’0″ guard burst onto the scene over the summer with the All Area Gold program. Burks is a dynamic playmaker both off of the dribble and as a scorer from the perimeter. He can shoot from three-point range, create for his teammates when attacking the basket, and finishes in a variety of creative ways at the rim. It will be fun to watch him go against some of the other best players in the 2027 class from around the state.
Carter Murans Carter Murans 6'4" | SF Guerin Catholic | 2027 IN (Guerin Catholic 2027) – A 6’3″ wing out of Guerin Catholic, Murans will bring impressive physical tools and athleticism to the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase on Sunday. He is a versatile offensive player with good ball handling ability, a smooth outside shot, and the length to finish at the rim. Murans is one to remember as a long-term prospect.
Makale Price (Penn H.S. 2027) – Anytime you see a freshman prospect that is already 6’7″ you are going to be intriguing. Price has the obvious size and length to be an impactful player around the rim both as a finisher on the offensive end and as a shot blocker on the defensive end. He will get a chance to showcase his size and skills against some of the state’s best at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
