Jayden Newell – Simeon
A 5’11 point guard who displayed lightning-fast dribble execution. He masterfully navigated through narrow openings on the court, displaying a remarkable ability to penetrate and create opportunities. Newell showcased a standout skill in delivering exceptional lead passes during fast-break scenarios. He demonstrated a fluid catch-and-shoot technique from the wing, consistently nailing three-point shots. Despite a wiry frame, Newell maintains an impressive ability to attract multiple defenders’ attention. He exhibited a rapid and dynamic ball-handling repertoire, causing defenders to either back off or falter. Undeniably resilient, consistently engaging in tough battles and emerging as an unwavering force on the court.
Hayden Schroeder – Wheaton Academy
Schroeder is a 6’5” forward with an unparalleled force on the court. He displayed a graceful touch around the rim, skillfully employing convincing ball fakes to confound defenders and create high-percentage scoring opportunities. Initiated awe-inspiring coast-to-coast drives, as he seamlessly executed a mesmerizing spin move from the top of the arc. With remarkable finesse, Schroeder swiftly accelerated downhill to the basket, culminating in an explosive finish that underscored his exceptional athleticism. Masterfully secured offensive rebounds, showcasing his prowess by employing a decisive power dribble to create separation and position himself for successful shots. Exemplifies the ability to transition easily from one end of the court to the other. Adds to his repertoire with a reverse layup that he artfully employs while attacking the baseline, further solidifying his versatility as a scoring threat.
Caden Crudup – Whitney Young
The 6’4” wing prospect impressively utilized his weaker hand to execute strong drives, often culminating in dynamic off-balance finishes within the heart of the court. Christopher Pulliams Jr. – Noble College Prep
A stocky 6’3” forward, Pulliams exhibited flawless timing and agility as he swiftly snatched offensive rebounds, executing delicate and composed lay-ins that underscored his refined touch around the basket. He demonstrated a commendable level of composure within the paint, adeptly employing head fakes to manipulate his defender into leaving his feet before capitalizing on the scoring opportunity. Produced a remarkable out-of-nowhere block off the backboard, showcasing an uncanny ability to disrupt opponents’ shots with precision. Pulliams displayed an innate knack for finding optimal positioning within the paint, consistently identifying and exploiting open spaces to contribute effectively on offense. Lincoln Burke – John Hersey
Burke is a sniper from the shooting guard position standing at 5’8”. He showcased exceptional accuracy as he confidently sank three-pointers from the wing with impeccable timing off the catch. Impressively followed up on an ensuing possession by seamlessly draining another three-pointer, this time from a few steps beyond the arc, displaying an extended shooting range. Asa Harris Asa Harris 5'7" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2027 IL – Homewood Flossmoor
A remarkably entertaining 5’7” lead-guard who executed a seamless and fluid elevation, effortlessly making 15-foot jumpers that showcased his smooth shooting form. He demonstrated the art of creating space by utilizing a well-timed hop step, allowing him to establish advantageous positioning. Utilized his active hands adeptly, strategically positioning them just inside the handler’s hip to expertly disrupt plays and gain control of the ball. Harris showed a remarkable ability to suspend in mid-air, adding an extra layer of finesse to his plays. Skillfully lulled defenders into a sense of complacency before swiftly delivering a pinpoint pass to a wide-open big man stationed under the rim, highlighting his ability to read the game and orchestrate plays with precision.
