With the school year only a week away, we will continue to add names to the rankings list and an update will be coming soon. The state of Arkansas is gaining the reputation of being a basketball state and the number of talented prospects does not disappoint.
Ta’Ron Hurst Ta’Ron Hurst 6'0" | PG Earle | 2026 AR -Point Guard-Earle-5’10”-2026
Hurst is a point guard that can rack up the points in bunches when he gets hot. He has the ability to hit from anywhere on the court. Hurst does a great job of finding his teammates on the court. He sets his teammates up well to get the open shot. Hurst drives the lane well and finishes at the rim. Over the past few weeks, Hurst has opened plenty of eyes at the Southern Arkansas camp. He is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming high school season.
Kelen Smith Kelen Smith 6'1" | CG Jonesboro | 2025 State AR -Combo Guard-Jonesboro-6’1”-2025
Kelen Smith Kelen Smith 6'1" | CG Jonesboro | 2025 State AR just knows how to make plays with the basketball. He penetrates the lane and finishes at the rim. Smith passes the ball well and has no problem finding the open shooter. He is a shooter that can hit from anywhere on the court. Smith can rack up the points in bunches. He is a player that can heat up quickly on the offensive end of the court. Meanwhile, on the defensive end of the court, Smith does a great job of keeping his hands active and disrupting the passing lanes. Smith is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.
Marco Smith-Small Forward-Fort Smith Northside-6’7”-2024
Marco Smith works in the post effectively. He finishes at the rim strong and does an impressive job of using his power to get to the rim. Smith can absorb the contact and finish at the rim. Smith can hit the contested shot and make it look fairly easy. Meanwhile, on the defensive end of the court, Smith does a great job of defending the rim and altering shots. Smith rebounds the ball well and is a player to watch out for this season.
Steven Toston-Scoring Guard-Springdale-6’3”-2025
Toston runs the floor extremely well. He has the speed to drive the lane and finishes strong at the rim. He has a knack for hitting contested shots. Toston can hit from all areas of the court and heats up quickly. He passes the ball and seems to always know where his teammates are on the court. Toston is a player to watch out for this upcoming season. The potential he has is impressive and he can open some eyes this season.
