Louisiana Freshman Showcase: 2nd Team

He was a true floor general who dictated the pace of play. He also could score the basketball at a high level. Allen is good shooter from three point range and great on dribble drives . He scored in traffic and finished at the rim. He is excellent passer and will find open teammates. Defensively, he was very good at creating turnovers. Shaw has them a outstanding player for the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2132729' first='Austin' last='Turner'] 6'1" Huntington</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Austin is another outstanding guard who can play either guard position. He is a very tough physical player on both ends of the court. He shoots the three point shot well and is tuff to stop on dribble drives . Austin rebounds very well from his guard spot on both ends of the court. Austin is one of the better freshman defenders in the state. Huntington has a must see player for college coaches the next four years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2132769' first='Xzavier' last='Baker'] 5'11" University Lab</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>U-high has another great guard in Xzavier. He is a very polished player for the cubs. He plays both ends of the court extremely well. He is a good shooter from three point range and mid-range. Xzavier knocked down open shots from the start of the showcase until the end of the showcase. He is good passer and also a excellent defender who can finish in transition. Xzavier will be a exciting player to watch this season for the cubs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2132749' first='Jaiden' last='Hall'] 5'11" Captain Shreve</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jaiden is a very tough player who would make my all hustle team. He plays with high energy from start to finish. He is good off the dribble and finishing at the rim with contact. Jaiden can knock down three point shots and mid-range jump shots . He is also a very unselfish player who makes great passes to open teammates. Defensively , he is one of the better players in the state. He will be a must watch player as a freshman this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2132841' first='Jaden' last='Davis'] 6'6" Airline</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jaden, is a very tough inside big man who plays very physical in the paint. He is a tenacious rebounder and also a very good passer . If you are open he will find you. He has soft outside shot from the outside and around the free throw line.
