<p>On Thursday afternoon, Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Florida) 6-2 senior combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1163391' first='Kent' last='Jackson'] is one step closer to announcing his college decision.</p>

<p>Jackson announced on his social media accounts he has narrowed his top schools down to just six. The six schools in no particular order are Chattanooga, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Mercer, Vermont and William & Mary. Jackson is a former Mercer University commit before de-committing from the program back in June. </p>

<p>This past season for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Jackson averaged 18.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Eagles leading them to a 21-7 record an appearance in the regional quarterfinals. </p>

<p>Jackson has displayed his game into an all-around game and is one of the top ranked sharpshooters in the state, regardless of class. He also can display has smooth release off the catch as well as off the dribble. </p>

<p>In the latest Prep Hoops' Florida rankings, Jackson is the 24th overall ranked player in the upcoming senior class and the 9th ranked combo guard. </p>

<p>During the AAU season, Jackson plays for Southeast Elite that is sponsored by NBA standout Austin Rivers out of the Orlando area. Jackson recently played on their 17U team that features 6-1 guard Mikel Brown Jr, 6-5 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1306080' first='VJ' last='Edgecombe'], 6-5 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1456542' first='Alex' last='Jasquith'] and 6-7 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1163617' first='Cameron' last='Simpson'] (UCF commit). </p>

<p>At the Las Vegas Live Period, Jackson continued to display his pure shooting from beyond the arc where he shot nearly 40 percent from 3-point range. </p>

<p>Jackson will return to a talented squad for his upcoming senior season that features 6-7 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1631206' first='Grady' last='Schwartz'], 5-10 junior combo guard Will Moore and 6-2 junior wing Mitchell Flakus. </p>
