Murdock was a guard that got it going quickly and was able to leave his stamp on each game throughout the day. He was able to get to the paint and finish in traffic, using his handles to blow past defenders. He was also able to get defenders off balance with being able to hit some nice midrange jumpers, also stepping out behind the arc and being a knockdown shooter as well. His midrange game looked polished and he was able to hit a couple turn around jumpers.
Highlights
Wolff was a player that got hot quickly and was able to make the defense pay for sagging off. He was a deadly shooter and at one point had 9 straight points from knocking down the 3 ball. He was pretty much automatic throughout the day as he found his rhythm and didn’t lose it. On the defensive end he was able to have an impact in the paint as he was able to crash the boards and come away with any rebound that came his direction. He was also able to alter some shots and sent some away as well, making drivers think twice about going up.

Klebba was my pick for most improved player on the day as he was able to turn into one of the more productive plays as the day progressed. He was able to show that he can get downhill quickly and have good body control when he got to the rim. He showed good vision and instinct on the defensive side of the ball, playing the passing lanes well and coming away with steals. He was able to force the ball handlers into bad passes and then would jump quickly to intercept the ball, taking it the other direction for an easy basket.

Barker was a player that had a high motor and was able to crash the boards throughout the day. He was a player that had good handles and was able to force the action. He showed the ability to create for himself, getting the ball inside and finishing at the rim or getting his teammates involved and kicking it out to an open shooter. He also showed the ability to extend the floor and knockdown the 3 ball, making defenders pay when they sagged too far off of him.
Monte Johnson
Monte Johnson
Johnson was a guard that showed great vision throughout the day and was able to push the pace on the break on multiple occasions. He has the ability to get to the paint and finish over taller defenders. He was able to step outside the arc and knockdown the 3 ball at a high rate even when defended closely. On the defensive end he stayed active and was able to get the longer rebounds limiting the second chance points.
