Derrick Hudson (ABC Elite): The 6’7″ forward was the Prep Hoops Most Valuable Player of the 15U Division after leading his team to the tournament championship. He was a dominant force at both ends of the court with his athleticism and versatile skill set. He had good footwork in the low post and a soft shooting touch, plus he also threw down numerous dunks with his explosive athleticism. He also displayed good ball handling ability and shooting range from beyond the 3-point line.

Jayden Slaugher (Legendary Athletes): The 6’4″ forward was one of the most explosive players in the 15U division and he displayed it on multiple occasions during the weekend. He was throwing down impressive slam dunks, whether it was in the half court or in the transition game. He is an excellent ball handler who made good decisions in the open court with his deft passing. He would grab the defensive rebound and take off on the fast break without an outlet pass needed.

Alex Komorech Alex Komorech 6'5" | PF Marquette | 2026 State MO (Mavericks G-Elite-1): The 6’5″ forward had an excellent weekend as he led his team to a berth in the semifinals. He had a high game of 30 points in the first game of the event against the STL Pressure. He also had a game-high 23 points in the semifinals against Pocket City. He was very active with good moves in the low post and slashing drives from the perimeter. He made some very nice catches inside and turned them into easy buckets in traffic.

Evan Sickmiller (Midwest Basketball Central- Craig): A 6’6″ forward who was a very effective offensive player around the basket. He had a nice finesse game with good footwork and a soft touch inside and he was also very mobile. His passing skills were also very good as he was hitting open cutters from the high post and also passing out of double teams to open shooters. He put up a couple of 20-point games during the weekend.

Cordell Turner (Pocket City): A 6’4″ forward who had an impressive motor and good athleticism as he helped Pocket City to a berth in the championship game. He had a quick first step to the basket and he covered a lot of space with his long stride to the basket. Whenever he got the ball on the perimeter, he was attacking downhill, whether you were ready or not. He was also strong in the low post as he plays bigger than his actual height. Whenever his team needed a bucket in the close game, he usually came up with one inside with a strong move.

Will Baugus (MO Legacy): A 6’5″ post player who has a big body and he knew how to use it in the paint. When he established his position in the low post, you were not going to move him. He made a strong catch, which was followed by a drop step and a finish. He used pump fakes inside very well and he could score with either hand with equal effectiveness. When he corralled a rebound with two hands, nobody was going to take it away from him. He could also start the fast break with a nice outlet pass.

Malachi Summons (Legendary Athletes): A 6’4″ forward who was one of the most impressive rebounders that I watched during the entire weekend. He attacked the boards with great tenacity at both ends of the court. He was very good at getting out of his area to rebound. On offense, he was effective with the bull-moose drive as he took advantage of his strength and power. He was also a good interior passer as he dropped some nice dimes through traffic.

Joseph Jones (Clippers Premier Black): A 6’3″ forward with a wide body as a good combination of physical power and finesse in his game. He can move people around in the post and score on a nice drop step in the paint. He catches the ball well with his soft hands. He can also step outside and knock down 3-pointers off the catch. He was very good off the pick and pop. He also throws a nice outlet pass after corralling the defensive rebound.

Witten Troup (Mavericks G Elite-2): A long and lanky 6’4″ forward who is an effective shot blocker with his reach and timing. He uses his mobility very well inside and he also has good body control when he finishes. He can also take the contact and get the bucket. He is a very good passer from the high post and he can also make a nice one-dribble move to the basket. He also got out and ran the court in transition.
