Some will be first year Varsity players logging good minutes off the bench, there’s a few who saw limited action coming off the bench. There’s a couple who’ll get a tryout on Varsity, might ultimately end up on JV coming up late season
A quick point guard who’s hard to guard and always on the attack whether it’s in transition or looking for openings with his dribble along the perimeter he keeps the pressure on the defense. He’s a fast guard who can get into the paint, with good kick-out passes to shooters.
Highlights
He’s along arm prospect with good movement on the defensive side of the ball. He has the length and foot speed to stay on ball, and make it tough for shooters to get open looks with his ability to get out on shooters. He’s a solid ball handler and he’ll move it around the the perimeter.
He’s good on the defensive side of the ball. His awareness, positioning and ability to help will get him minutes. He’s strong, has good lift to go after rebounds, foot speed to defend multiple positions, and strong enough to battle in the paint using his body to box out. His offensive skill set is coming along. He can hit the paint jumper, use a dribble or two to attack, along with good passing skills.
He’s a solid body naturally strong prospect who’s undersized but brings a versatile type of game that will get him minutes off the bench. He’ll mix it up for rebounds on both ends, get put backs and finish strong around the rim. He’s strong with good movement and will work to defend.
A hard playing good all-around guard. He has a guards skill set. He has good movement without the ball. He’s aggressive going to the basket handling contact, he makes his free throws. He’s a ball mover, with good passing. He can hit shots from mid-range out behind the 3pt line. He competes, he’ll find a way to contribute on Varsity
He’s a long wing prospect with square shoulders who could grow a few more inches. He has good basketball fundamentals, and movement but could use some strengthening. His handles are decent, he’s a willing passer. He can drive it, using his length to finish over defenders, and handle contact. He has length to defend and rebound.
Highlights
He’s a two sport athlete (Football). He’s strong with good size, and has good movement on the basketball court. At 6’4 he’ll most likely get minutes using his physicalness to defend others in the post area. He’s good running the court, and finishing around the rim. He can hit the short jumper, and will help with rebounding.
Highlights
At 6’3 he’s quite effective working in and around the post area at the 15U level. He’s strong uses one and two hard dribbles with balance to effectively attack in the post area. He’s a triple threat from the high post hitting the free throw jumpers, passing, and attacking the front of the rim. He’ll mix it up for rebounds.
He’s long still growing, he’s a wing type prospect who’ll get his minutes with his effort on the defensive side of the ball. He has good length to defend out to the 3pt line. He moves well enough to stay close, get a hand up, and distract shooters. He needs to get stronger, but he’ll go after rebounds, run the court in transition, and move the ball. He’s played his way off the Watch List.
