Jarboe is an impactful scorer and facilitator around the rim, always keeping his head up for the right decision. The guard does a great job attacking the rim with purpose, capable of readjusting mid-air for finishes through traffic. Even through contact, the guard finds ways to be a capable shotmaker around the rim. If opponents have position to wall off the rim, Jarboe surveys the floor for kickout passes or incoming cutters. Another aspect of the guard’s impact comes from his willingness as a passer, especially in the transition setting. Proving capable of sending near full court passes to sprinting teammates, the guard is an accurate passer in space.
Elijah Mack – Doherty
Mack will be a name to follow over the coming seasons, boasting excellent vision and a refined shooting form. The 5’10 guard is a knockdown shooter off the catch, putting on blinders to incoming contests. The guard is not just a spot-up shooter, proving effective at attacking closeouts or utilizing self-created moves to attack downhill. If opponents play the drive, he can rise up in the mid-range, getting quality elevation on the shot. Possessing great confidence with the ball in either hand, Mack keeps his eyes open for backdoor cutters, perfectly dependable threading the needle through multiple defenders. His role for a well coached Doherty team will be intriguing, providing a much needed role as a facilitator following Christian Drummond’s departure to Colorado College.
Damian Dirden Damian Dirden 6'5" | CG Smoky Hill | 2025 State CO – Smoky Hill
Dirden will be a valuable complementary scorer who possesses enough length in the backcourt to become a disruptive perimeter defender. The guard stands right around 6’3, already effective as a stand still shooter, he boasts the necessary height to get up shots past an incoming contest. Although a capable shotmaker, the guard looks for the best possible shots, whether for himself or teammates. The guard gets the bulk of his possessions within three dribbles, either getting to a good shot or attacking downhill for the efficient pass off the drive. Dirden embraces the fundamentals, getting to jump stops for extra passes once help arrives. Defensively, his wide reach allows him more space than a lot of guards, creating deflections and broken plays from the opponent. Exciting future ahead for Smoky Hill, who seeks to retain their standing among Colorado’s top high school programs.
Chase Manzani Chase Manzani 6'0" | CG Thompson Valley | 2025 State CO – Thompson Valley
Manzani is a strong guard with value as a facilitator and downhill scoring threat. The combo guard is especially active in the fullcourt, proactively pushing the pace following a defensive rebound. Either finding teammates through outlets or no look passes in advantage situations, the guard boasts a bit of flash with the ball. Within the arc, he can leverage his strength for layups at the rim or change up the pace to get his defender out of position for a finesse finish. The guard boasts excellent footwork with the ball, capable of opening his hips and changing direction in an instant. Another aspect of the guard’s impact has been his pull-up shooting ability within the mid-range, effective at flowing into his shot off a variety of circumstances.
