Jalin Holland Jalin Holland 6'5" | SG Los Lunas | 2025 State #85 Nation NM – Los Lunas
Holland is a physical guard who can force the opponent’s hand in a variety of ways. First and foremost, the guard is a wrecking ball attacking the rim, boasting a quick first step and soft touch versus contact. He boasts counters to an active defense, such as gather steps and high hand finishes, ultimately forcing defenses into a higher likelihood of reach-ins and subsequent fouls. Although more than capable of attacking downhill, Holland possesses quick footwork necessary to create space on jump shots. Effective at stepping into pull-ups or utilizing an array of combo moves to create space, the guard has an advanced toolkit at his disposal. Defensively, Holland matches up well 1-4, thanks to his verticality and willingness to take contact. The guard is among the most exciting prospects in the state, boasting offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and a few other division 1 programs.
Cameron Dyer Cameron Dyer 6'3" | SG La Cueva | 2025 State NM – La Cueva
Dyer is an athletic guard who boasts quick instincts as a facilitator. Standing right around 6’4, the guard boasts good size to match up with both backcourt positions. Dyer is a superb athlete who makes a big impact as a help or point of attack defender. His quick bounce allows him to swat away shot attempts, either along the perimeter or meeting a forward at the rim. On quite a few occasions through his high school season, Dyer met taller opponents mdi-air for blocks, quite an impressive defensive prospect. Offensively, the guard is a capable downhill scoring threat, effective at leveraging those driving lanes to facilitate for teammates. The guard boasts an exciting career on the football field too, overall a very talented all around athlete and playmaker.
Kayle Covington Kayle Covington 6'3" | SG Lovington | 2025 State NM – Lovington
Covington is a capable all around scorer, playing freely in transition opportunities. The 6’3 guard is a knockdown shooter along the perimeter, capable of getting to his shots off the bounce or from spot-ups. His elevated base and high release point on the shooting form allows him a bit more leverage for the jumper than most guards. In transition, Covington is active getting to spin moves and gather steps to score around contests, possessing excellent timing for the defense.
Landon Begay Landon Begay 6'0" | SG Farmington | 2025 State NM – Farmington
Begay is a knockdown shooter off the catch, boasting value as a complementary scoring threat. Standing right around 6′ tall, the shooting guard has a wide reach, capable of impacting opponents at the point of attack. Another aspect to Begay’s game is his vision as a facilitator, often through well timed passes through the defense. Whether on lobs or passes to baseline cutters, the guard has great timing on those passing reads. As the guard continues to bolster his willingness as a ball handler, there is no doubt that Begay can be a crucial facilitator with Farmington over the next couple seasons.
