Which players are sleepers in the 2024 Illinois Class? These are a few post prospects that we think are either not talked about enough or undervalued for their recruitment to where we think they are as prospects!

[player_tooltip player_id='1157221' first='James' last='Bullock'] (Marian Catholic)

Current Ranking: #36

Bullock is a player that should be getting more love at the low-major and D2 levels. Long and lanky post that can play either the four or five. Very good shot blocker and has athleticism around the rim. Also can stretch with his shot to mid-range consistently and three on occasion.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978577' first='CJ' last='Worsham'] (Christ The King)

Current Ranking: #43

Strong southpaw power forward that has explosive athleticism around the rim, rebounds well in his area, and is a tough post defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1404027' first='Drew' last='King'] (Joliet West)

Current Ranking: #61

Five man with legit size that can anchor a defense on the backend with his shot blocking and is a good athlete finishing out of the dunker spot on the regular.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978579' first='Camden' last='Lathos'] (Conant)

Current Ranking: #62

Traditional post that scores with his back to the basket utilizing sound footwork, touch, and positioning. D2s should be monitoring him!

[player_tooltip player_id='1978580' first='Kaden' last='Faber'] (Thornwood)

Current Ranking: #65

Faber is an athletic face up four man that can stretch with his shooting and brings big time athleticism on both ends that makes him a very intriguing prospect.

Ameer Morrow (Simeon)

Current Ranking: #66

High-motor and bouncy four man that gets on the offensive glass, finishes out of the dunker spot, and run the floor for slams.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545137' first='Jalen' last='Crues'] (Wheaton North)

Current Ranking: #75

Crues is a versatile four man that can slide down and play some three or up to be a small ball five. Strong bodied post that is a plus athlete, rebounds, and defends all over the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978596' first='Bryce' last='Newsome'] (Belleville West)

Current Ranking: #109

Like what Newsome brings to the table as we saw him quite a bit with Illinois Orange. The legit sized five is in the best shape of his career which has translated into production scoring down low, rebounding, and being a defensive presence.

[player_tooltip player_id='1373447' first='Colin' last='Hayes'] (Bloomington Central Catholic)

Current Ranking: #111

Hayes will certainly have to step up with Certa gone. What we liked about him last year was the athletic pop up front he presented as a skilled four that can play inside and out. Could go the football route in college, but if he does opt for hoops would be a priority small college get!
