Volunteer State Standouts: Top 2024 Shooting Guards

Today, we will be continuing my "Volunteer State Standouts" series as we continue to explore some of the most impressive returning talents in the state. Kimber was one of the most explosive weapons on the Falcons' roster during his junior stint of high school basketball last year. In addition to impressive size, speed and versatility on both sides of the floor, Kimber impressed me with his footwork, ability to pull up for jumpers and his toughness along the perimeter. The rising senior out of Eads, TN. also caught my attention with his ability to disrupt opponents on the other side with his size, making a huge difference while fighting for rebounds underneath the basket last season. Davis additionally impresses with his precise decision-making ability and overall team effort, passing the ball when his teammates have an open look. The rising senior out of Memphis, TN. also made a big difference in making stops on defense and grabbing second chance opportunities. In addition to excellent size, speed and physicality on both sides, Clark impresses me with his strong ball control, smart passing and his pin-point accuracy from along the perimeter and in the paint. The rising senior out of Nolensville, TN. additionally caught my eye with his defensive toughness and ability to muscle his way to the ball for second chance opportunities.
