As noted frequently, Prep Hoops Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels for readers to evaluate. Let’s get into some of the stats, and Hudl films from some of the rising prospects.
Maodo Niang Maodo Niang 6'8" | PF Central Pointe Christian Academy | 2025 State #247 Nation FL | F | Class of 2025 | @MaodoMalickNi17
6’8”
Niang is a dominant wing prospect standing at 6-foot-8 who is a versatile athlete that can finish consistently around the rim or use his strength to be a force in the paint and rebound column. Has made plenty of noise to be added to the list this off-season. A true under-the-radar prospect that can be a threat at the next level.
Chris Cornish | CG | Class of 2024 | Charlotte | @jamil_chris
Cornish has done nothing but raise his stock with consistent performances during the AAU session. A high-motor team player that can score off pure athleticism and physicality. Still growing and could put on more size while keeping his explosive demeanor. Finishes everything strong around the rim and always looking to cut to the basket.
CJ Hall CJ Hall 6'3" | CG Hillard | 2025 State FL | G | Class of 2025 | Hilliard | @CJHall__
2022 stats: 20.8 ppg | 6.7 rebounds | 2.4 steals
Hall recorded solid numbers during his sophomore season, finishing with over 20 points per game while nearly racking up 7.0 rebounds per game. That is the way to affect the game as an aggressive guard prospect that can score the rock consistently and be a scrapper on the boards. Plays with a big guard mindset but has a decent jumper and good body control around the rim.
Malcolm Warthen | G | Class of 2024 | Hilliard | @Malcolmsmith_
2022 stats: 25.7 ppg | 4.8 rebounds | 2.3 steals
Warthen is a pure bucket on the hardwood that scores in a variety of ways. He can take opposing defenders to the bucket with good handles and strong finishes at the rim. Or Warthen can show off his smooth jumper and creativity at the top of the key. It’s his DOG mentality that jumps out when watching his film.
Noah Cutler | G | Class of 2024 | Gateway Charter | @NoahCutler32
College coaches in need of a team player guard that is fearless on the court, Noah Cutler fits the description. He has that DOG mindset despite being undersized that will take him to the next level. Creative with the rock in his hands and can use his quickness to blow by defenders and open holes for other teammates. Has created a buzz around his name and recruitment during the AAU period.
