Jamias Ferere Jamias Ferere 6’5″ | SF Southern Guilford | 2025 NC is an emerging wing prospect to get to know following his performance on the 3SSB stage with Garner Road Basketball Club. He’s an impressive prospect that can find his shot with confidence in isolation and off the catch. Add in his ability to get hot in a hurry from deep and defend multiple positions on the floor, he’s easily shown he’s a scholarship player at the very least. He’ll be one of a few names for DI and DII programs to get to know at Southern Guilford High this fall, that’s for sure.
Highlights
Kyrell Shaw Kyrell Shaw 6’4″ | SG Northside Christian Academy | 2024 State NC was quite a name to know this past grassroots cycle with PSB Elite given his prowess shooting the ball on the perimeter. He’s a capable 6-foot-2 guard that can get going in a hurry in the backcourt. Shaw returns to the Northside Christian Academy fold looking to do even more damage as defending NCISAA 1A State Champions. Shaw put up 15.5 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 2.0 apg and 1.6 spg on 55 percent shooting from the field and 52 percent from behind the arc. He knocked down 100 3-pointers in 2022-23. He’s a prospect for DI and DII programs in the region to get to know given his shooting prowess.
Travelle Bryson Travelle Bryson 6’5″ | SF Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC is a 2024 name due for breakout senior season with Mooresville High following the grassroots cycle. He’s a wiry prospect at 6-foot-4 that had a strong showing this past season with Mooresville and is set to do even more damage after a productive season on the EYBL stage with Georgia Stars. He put up 11.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 1.9 apg on the EYBL circuit while showing off his ability to get to the rim with pace and finish strong, even in traffic. As he shows his consistency shooting the basketball in 2023-24, look for DI and DII programs in the region to start drawing interest.
Delani Hammonds Delani Hammonds 6’0″ | CG Ardrey Kell | 2024 State NC is a high IQ combo guard that’s set to lead in a variety of ways in the Charlotte metro area with Ardrey Kell High after a positive grassroots season with Team Synergy . He does well to control the pace with the ball in his hands and keeps defenders guessing with his shiftiness handling the ball. He can knock down the 3-ball and is a tremendous passer in space off the bounce. Defensively, he knows how to be a pest and keeps the energy with his ability to apply on-ball pressure. He’s a prospect for DII programs in need of a utility guard should get eyes on in the region.
