Over the course of the weekend, I saw countless of players and teams compete with multiple big time performances throughout. I have already looked at my Top Performers and given underclassman evals but now, let’s take a look at Part 3 of some of the other performers that I saw at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals and evaluate their performance.
Summit is a 6-foot-3 wing out of Evansville Harrison that did a little bit of everything for Indiana Ambition 2025 over the weekend. Was real impressed with his strong baseline driving ability and how hard he attacked the offensive glass. While he is a little on the shorter end at his position, he makes up for it with a bigger frame and good motor. Shot the ball well from the outside overall for the most part as well.
Cherry is a bigger lead guard at the high school level and played the floor general role very well for Kyle Guy Elite 2024 Black. Really likes to push the pace when he can but is always scanning the floor to see what options are available for a play. What I enjoyed watching the most from Cherry was his rebounding ability because he grabbed the boards so well at his position. He does the right things to help a team win and that is what you should want in your lead guard.
Sloss is a long and lanky forward that showed a lot of upside this weekend playing for Team Teague 2025. Although he is still a little raw, he showed some solid bounce around the rim on both ends of the floor. He is extremely versatile on both ends of the floor as well and he can play both the wing and post. Has a real solid jumper and thought he was tough on the defensive end. Really like the game of this athletic forward.
Robertson is a 6-foot-5 center that has a massive frame. Little bit of versatility to his game as he scores well through contact but can also sneakily stretch the floor from time to time. His motor is a question mark for me as there were times I felt he took plays off and wasn’t going as hard as what INB 2025 Elite needed. As Greenfield-Central is looking for guys to step up around 2025 guard Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'6" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN , Robertson could be one of those guys.
Samuel Wojasinski – 5’10 PG 2025 – Michigan City – Indiana Game 2025 Gold
Wojasinski is a smaller guard that has high IQ and court vision. Defended really well on the ball and on the offensive end, he was making real sharp passes. He is very small so that limits him at times but he does lead guard things so well. His jumper needs some work as it is a little flat so if he can get that figured out, it could really open up his game.
