We have some undefeated teams going into Day 2 that had some convincing wins throughout their first 3 games on Saturday. Below I am going to summarize some of the best matchups of the day that you should keep an eye out for. These games are sure to be high-flying, with a ton of energy and skill displayed on each and every possession. Thanks for tuning in and let’s do this!
United Hoops 2025 (2-0) – VS – Hardwood Elite 2025 (3-0)
United Hoops ended their first day with an undefeated record of 2-0, while beating their opponents by an average of 26.5 points in their two victories. On the other sides of things, Hardwood Elite 2025 finished their day 3-0, while beating a very good Mid Mo Elite 2025 team to end their Saturday night. This game is going to come down to if United Hoops can keep up. Not saying that they haven’t had a hard road to this point but Hardwood Elite 2025 has just shown a lot more throughout the first day. If United can withstand the punches of Hardwood Elite to start, then we will have game, if not it could be a long one. No matter what, both teams are going to give it their all with a chance to the 16U championship on the line.
Royalty Hoops Ect 2025 (1) (2-0) – VS – Arkansas Ducks 2025 Camarata (3-0)
The Arkansas Ducks 2025 Camarata team is the group that stood out above all at the 16U level on Day 1 of Arch Madness. Will they be able to keep it up for Day 2 and bring home the Ship? We will have to wait and see. I do know that it isn’t going to be easy. In this first matchup of their day, they will have to face a team with two elite guards and some post players with size. In both of Royalty Hoops Ect 2025 (1) contests today, they won by a pretty decent margin in the end. This is easily going to be the toughest team that they will have to face this weekend and I’m not sure how it’s going to go. If the Ducks continue to do, what they did today, no one is going to stop them. They just have too many playmakers but who knows, we will have to find out at 10:10AM on court 4.
Mid Mo Elite 2025 (2-1) – VS – Pocket City 2025 (2-1)
Mid Mo Elite 2025 fell just short in their matchup against Hardwood Elite 2025 on Saturday night but they are looking to bounce back for Day 2 with revenge on their mind. A team that has a smooth lefty PG, athletic wings/forward, and a big in the middle does a good job of holding their own. If they wouldn’t have buried themselves into a 14 point hole to start the second half of their last game, they would have most likely came out on top in that matchup. As for Pocket City, last round they got seeded against the Ducks 2025 Camarata team and it was a battle. It was a one point game at halftime with both teams playing some of the highest-level of basketball I’ve seen all season from this age level. In the second half, the depth of the Ducks took over and it was just too much. Much respect for Pocket City though. They have a few players that I will be featuring over the next few days because their play this weekend and the future they possess on the floor. This game between these two programs could be one for the ages.
Mavericks Elite 2025 (1-1) – VS – Top 1 2025 (1-1)
Mavericks Elite 2025 and Top 1 2025 both had similar situations to start off this tournament and that was losing a tough game, to a very good team that was also placed in each of their pools. The Mavericks fell early to Mid Mo Elite 2025 by a hefty amount , while Top 1 2025 lost to Pocket City 2025 by 8 in their early morning matchup on Saturday. Since those games, both teams have bounced back to win their next contest going into Championship Sunday. If they both go out and play fundamental basketball, like they did in both of their Game 2’s on Saturday, its going to be a tough contest. This one is going to have its up and downs but no matter what, in the end, it’s going to be a scrappy dog-fight. Whoever wants it more will come out on top.
