The 6-8 combo forward brought high energy on display where he can be super productive on both ends of the floor. He has continued to improve his confidence by stretching the floor and knocking down the perimeter shots at a high rate. He also has improved his quickness and can get to the rim on the attack and finish efficiently with the best of them. Abdullahi has recently received offers from Fresno State and Yale continuing to provide huge stock going into his senior season.
The 6-5 forward brought all the tools with him to Day 1 of the NCAA Academy as he has good size, length and footwork where he can play multiple positions on the floor. He is also a smart passer as well as can contribute on and off the ball. Alston has also continued to improve to be one of the best three-level shooters in the state of Tennessee. On the defensive end he brought a ton of physicality where he was battling on the boards and can play a big role heading into his senior season.
The 6-2 point guard has vastly improved his game over the course of the summer and is a great decision maker when he has the basketball in his hands. His versatility also speaks volumes on his game as he has turned into a true three-level scorer. Burbridge will look to play a key role as transferred from Miami Palmetto to Stranahan earlier this summer.
Highlights
The 6-1 rising sophomore guard continues to shoot the ball well from the perimeter as he is playing with a ton of confidence. Fuentes also made some big plays on the defensive end of the floor during Day 1 of the NCAA Basketball Academy.
The 6-6 rising junior wing has been playing with a ton of confidence and has one of the highest stocks in Alabama. His level of play has continued to remain consistent and plays with a ton of quickness as well as good energy when he’s out on the floor. He is showing a quicker release from beyond the arc and producing in a variety of ways whether he has the ball in his hands or not. He has also stood out with his high basketball IQ and accuracy on his passes whether they are lobs at the front of the rim or cross-court to find an open shooter.
