Susi is an impressively strong guard for his age, proving to be a pest on the glass. The guard was constantly crashing the glass however possible, on either end. Although called for a few fouls due to his aggression, the guard proved to be one of the most motivated prospects in 15U. Although impressive with strength, Susi was capable as a finesse scorer, either through catch and shoot threes or slashing layup attempts. Susi did not shy away from letting it fly under light contests, proving effective both in and outside the arc.
Isaiah Lucas – Colorado Springs School – P.L.U.T.O. Prospects – 2026
Lucas was an impressively strong forward who made a large impact on rebounds and putbacks. Standing right around 6’4, Lucas was a physically imposing forward, grabbing at least seven blocks between his two games on Saturday. Lucas is not only sturdy but coordinated, fully capable of being ready for help side rotations to swat away shot attempts. Offensively, Lucas still has plenty of room to grow, although he was efficient scoring around the rim within the 15U age group.
Deacon Schmitt – 24MD Team Daum 15’s Select – Windsor – 2026
Schmitt is all too strong for the vast majority of opponents, showing soft touch at the basket alongside a high IQ baseline as a passer. Typically operating in the high or low post, the 6’4 forward is a physically imposing prospect, garnering plenty of attention for his football talents too. Schmitt was especially valuable facilitating to baseline cutters and weak side shooters, following the screen action. He possesses great timing making those passes, proving to be a low turnover risk throughout Friday and Saturday.
Brooks Baughman Brooks Baughman 6'5" | PF Blue Valley Northwest | 2026 KS – Blue Valley Northwest – Mokan ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] 2026 – 2026
Baughman was a constant rebounding threat on either end of the floor, proving more physically developed than the wide variety of opponents. The 6’5 forward got his way around the rim, simply too strong to be boxed out. When left open, Baughman could knock down the spot-up three, easily letting it fly versus opposing contests. Throughout the weekend Baughman was putting up easily over 8 rebounds per game, half of which from the offensive glass. Following those offensive boards, few could do much to contest him without fouling, given his raw strength. This Mokan ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] 2026 team certainly possesses the most collective size of any program within 15U.
Hugh Tarpenning Hugh Tarpenning 6'5" | SF Discovery Canyon | 2026 State CO – Discovery Canyon – 7070 Athletics – 2026
Tarpenning provided immense value for a dominant 7070 group throughout the weekend. The 6’4 forward proved capable scoring around the rim off of straight line drives and putbacks following offensive rebounds. While attacking the basket, Tarpenning displayed comfort finishing with either hand, regardless of contact. He had himself a few excellent possessions in Friday’s effort, putting up 13 points in the first half. He has a versatile offensive foundation, including capabilities knocking down spot-up jumpers from mid-range and out to the three point line. Most consistent from free throw line or slightly extended, his offensive package is refined in nature.
