The incoming senior class of 2024 had a strong showing at the Iona Prep Team Camp. Let's dive into some standouts we saw from the Class of 2024:

[player_tooltip player_id='1682064' first='Jalen' last='Munson'] is poised to have a stellar season with the St. Peter's Eagles after his showing at Iona Prep Team Camp. When on the floor, he's a threat to score from every level. While hitting a couple of shots from long distance at team camp, Munson also got to the rim. And finished through contact. At times, when asked to run the show, Munson stepped right in and St. Peter's didn't miss a beat. Surely this is a guard colleges will want to keep an eye on next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1360127' first='Tristan' last='Rogers'] can really shoot. However it's more important to note, that he looks for his teammates before his own shot. Because Rogers can really shoot. For a moment it seemed every shot he put up went down, from midrange, to three point line. While he was wide open, or while defenders were barreling over him. Within the midst of the offense or if it was necessary to create his own look at the rim. Whatever the case, Rogers was locked in at Iona Prep Team Camp and is a player to watch next season, if you're in the market for a scoring guard.

Eli Small is a tall long and athletic wing for Archbishop Molloy. At Iona Prep Team Camp, Small showed a great ability to get out in the open floor and finish acrobatically in transition. In fact, Small showed he is a full offensive threat, by knocking down some shots as well. Not to mention Small displayed a commitment to being a pest on the defensive end, and making it difficult for teams to finish around the rim. Overall Smalls has a good attitude on the court and combined with his skills, he is a good player to keep an eye on next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1395993' first='Mike' last='Spisto'] is the archetype of a point guard if there ever was one. Spisto is pass-first and looks to run the offense and reset whenever things breakdown. In fact, Spisto makes his teammates better by getting them the ball in positions where they are most confident. At the same time, if you leave him open, Spisto will make you pay from behind the arc. Because he's a pest on defense, sometimes guarding full court at Iona Prep Team Camp. As well as a vocal leader on the floor, Spisto is a point guard to keep an eye on this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2025902' first='Darren' last='McFarlane'] made a huge impression on us at the Iona Prep Team Camp. At this point, we are fully aware of McFarlane's superior athleticism. Specifically his jumping ability. But in the two games we saw at Iona Prep, McFarlane made shots consistently. However he didn't fall in love with the jumpshot. Repeatedly banging in the post for easy opportunities. Due to his size and athletic ability, McFarlane made it difficult for the Centers he faced to get attempts around the rim. With that being said, McFarlane is a player to watch if you're in the market for athletic wings at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1360124' first='Carlos' last='Urena'] is a small guard with the heart and fight of a giant. When Monsignor McClancy was teetering at Iona Prep Team Camp, Urena completely took over at one point and this calmed down the rest of his teammates. At times, Urena got to the rim with little to no resistance because of his quickness. Or using his IQ to get around picks and make the right decision. As a defender Urena is just as aggressive and doesn't take a break on any possessions. Without a doubt, Urena is a PG to keep your eye on next season.
