Aiden Derkack Aiden Derkack 6'5" | SG Colonia | 2026 State NJ , 6’6 W Colonia 2026
Derkack had a terrific day 2 as he did a little bit of everything for the Patriots. The lanky 6’6 wing used his size to see over his defender and made several slick passes throughout the course of the game. Derkack finished nicely around the basket and was unafraid of drawing contact. He used his length to make plays on the defensive end and was comfortable running the offense at times. Derkack is a talented wing prospect who will be one to watch over the next couple of years in the Garden State.
Deuce Jones Deuce Jones 6'1" | PG College Achieve | 2024 State #221 Nation NJ , 6’1 PG College Achieve 2024
Jones was electric throughout the day as he made plays with the ball in his hands. The 6’1 guard used his tight handle and quickness to blow by his defender in the halfcourt. Jones exploded off the floor for dunks and made tough shots through contact at the rim. He made several slick passes to teammates and was able to get deflections on the defensive end. Jones is a dynamic lead guard prospect who makes plays with the ball in his hands.
Tariq Jennings Tariq Jennings 6'6" | SF West Catholic | 2024 State PA , 6’6 W West Catholic 2024
Jennings had a strong day for the Burrs as he was able to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6’6 wing attacked the basket strong as he finished nicely at the rim and was able to draw contact in the paint. Jennings put the ball on the floor nicely and moved well without the ball in his hands. He influenced shots around the basket on the defensive end and fought for rebounds throughout the day. Jennings’ stock will continue to rise if he continues to play like he did this weekend.
Yaw Ansong Yaw Ansong 6'11" | C Union Catholic | 2025 State #345 Nation NJ , 6’11 C Union Catholic 2025
Ansong had a solid performance on day 2 as he was able to show off his game. The 6’11 post was able to get position down low and finished strong above the rim. Ansong has a nice touch on his free throws and knocked down a jumper from behind the arc. He influenced shots around the basket and secured rebounds on both ends of the floor. Ansong is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential and will be one to watch in the Garden State.
Jamir McNeil Jamir McNeil 6'0" | PG Middle Township | 2025 State NJ , 6’0 PG Middle Township 2025
McNeil had a big day for the Panthers as he was tough to stop off the bounce. The 6’0 guard used his quick first step to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. McNeil got his teammates involved in the halfcourt and rarely forced bad shots. He pushed the ball well in transition and moved his feet well on the defensive end. McNeil is a long guard prospect who should be making plays with the ball in his hands throughout the 2023-24 season.
