Haynes is s small guard that is lightning-quick and understands how to control the flow of the game. He knows how to lead his team by being aggressive when going to the whole. With his quickness, it makes it almost impossible for somebody to stay in front of him which creates chaos and allows his teammates to get open looks consistently. Although he is fast he knows how to play at different speeds and understands when he needs to explode and when he needs to go at a slower pace. When playing with a guy like this on your team it can be a breath of fresh air because life will always be easier for you offensively.
Kray Rogers
Kray Rogers
Rogers is a flat-out assassin when it comes to shooting the basketball. He loves shooting the three-ball from further than beyond NBA range. He is just as good with the basketball in his hands as he is coming off of screens to catch and shot. Primetime did a great job putting him in situations that allowed him to consistently be successful in both situations. Due to him being such a threat offensively you have to guard him as soon as he gets across half-court and with him having shooters around him the defender ends up being on an island all by themselves with him. He is smart when he has the ball in his hands because he doesn’t need a bunch of dribbles to get a good shot for himself.
Terry is a guy that can flat-out shoot the basketball. He does a great job in a catch-and-shot roll but also does well coming off screens as well. When he is being pressured he does a great job of taking care of the basketball and getting it to the right guy in the perfect position to score. Because of his offensive threat throughout the weekend, he was able to consistently get his teammates easy opportunities because the defense was so focused on trying to stop him.
Highlights
Tristan O’Connor
Tristan O’Connor
O’Connor is a guy that gets his buckets in very creative ways. He oftentimes doesn’t need the basketball to make things happen and instead does things like crash the offensive glass and goes after loose balls relentlessly. He is one of those guys whose presents on the court impacts the game in a major way and it seems like he always makes a big play at the right time on both ends of the court.
Charlie Dimmock
Charlie Dimmock
Dimmock is a kid that is very effective in the pick-and-roll option. He isn’t hesitant to set a hard physical screen for his ball handler and then always rolls hard to the basket to receive the pass. If he doesn’t receive the ball he always continues to work down low by posting up his defender to gain another opportunity once the ball is swung to his side. When one of his teammates shot the basketball he is relentless in going to the offensive glass to give his team second and third opportunities to score. He does a great job protecting the paint and finishes well around the basket with either hand.
