2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1076354' first='Langston' last='Boyd'] - Boyd was awarded the Greater Metro 4A Conference's Offensive Player of the Year, while leading Cox Mill to the conference tournament title after playing only 11 games the entire season due to injury. The well-built, southpaw guard posted season averages of 19.1 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.4 SPG, AND 0.5. Boyd assisted in the Charger's 10-4 conference record last season, and is now preparing to lead the Chargers for his senior season in preparation of a repeat of last season's success. Powerful, athletic downhill threat with an impressive midrange game. Langston will be one of the clear frontrunners for GM4 Conference Offensive Player of the Year award.

The Daniel Twins, Cemented in Central Cabarrus History

[player_tooltip player_id='1158774' first='Carson' last='Daniel'] - [player_tooltip player_id='1158774' first='Carson' last='Daniel'] has been a commodity in the state of North Carolina since his freshman season. Daniel has contributed as a starter for one of the more, if not the most consistently dominant program(s) in the state of North Carolina. During Central Cabarrus' historic 2022-2023 season, Daniel averaged 10.2 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 6.7 APG, and 3.6 SPG. Daniel's well roundedness as a facilitator and defender holds him in high regard as one of the county's absolute best in both categories. Daniel is one of 3 returners from last season that averaged double figures, and hopes to defend their undefeated record and state title. The patient, winning lead guard is committed to go play at Catawba College alongside his twin brother, Chase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154633' first='Chase' last='Daniel'] - [player_tooltip player_id='1154633' first='Chase' last='Daniel'] makes up one of 3 key returners for the dominant Central Cabarrus Vikings. In 22-23, Daniel averaged 13.6 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 4.7 APG, 3.6 SPG, and 0.7 BPG. Daniel is a consistent paint touch guard with fearlessness attacking the rim. His identical 3.6 steals to his twin brother, Carson, should serve as a bit of an indication for the level of constant havoc wrecked on that side. Daniel finished last season shooting an exceptionally efficient 61% from the field and 45% from behind the arc on 78 attempts. Catawba College will be welcoming a guard who has experienced more winning in North Carolina than almost anyone else in recent memory.
