Next Level Elite 2025 Played Well:
Next Level Elite 2025 had it going this weekend with its play on the hardwood. The Upstate based crew was clicking on all cylinders with its play today.
Simms Disbrow Simms Disbrow 5'10" | PG Daniel | 2025 State SC was outstanding all weekend with his play from the lead guard spot. The Daniel HS point guard scored the ball in bunches on his way to 31 points according to my unofficial stats. Simms was dropping the 3-ball and simply making hustle plays all over the floor. Disbrow connected on several jumpers and easy buckets to the rim. Simms played really well under control and shot the ball at a good clip. Disbrow played under control and at a good pace all weekend.
Nehemiah Thompkins Nehemiah Thompkins 6'3" | SF Greenville | 2025 State SC who plays at Greenville HS was scoring the ball from all 3 levels on the floor today. Nehemiah exploded to the cup downhill at times today and scored with ease. The motor was constantly in high gear all day long. Thompkins finished drives in transition when he was deciding not to pull-up for a 3-ball from downtown. Nehemiah finished with 15 points in this game we took in vs Team Seed Elite.
Tristyn Carrington Tristyn Carrington 6'3" | SF Daniel | 2025 State SC has a great frame to him and is simply a mismatch on the floor at times. Tristyn can defend multiple positions on the floor. He really excels in slashing to the rack and getting the ball downhill. He’s built like a tank and is looking to take out any defender who gets in his way to the basket. Tristyn plays at Daniel HS and also dresses up for the football team in the fall.
Brock Cherry Brock Cherry 6'2" | CG Wren | 2025 State SC is a very deceptive athlete who plays with some swagger and confidence on the wing. Cherry attends Wren HS – the Class 3A State Champions this past season. Brock will use his body to fend off defenders on the way to the way to the basket or simply pull-up with a nice mid-range jumper at times. He did a nice job today of getting to the foul line for his squad.
Glenn Leads PCH:
LaQuaree Glenn LaQuaree Glenn 6'3" | SG Lower Richland | 2025 State SC has a knack to the score the ball while in the game. LaQuaree has a strong sturdy frame to overpower defenders to the cup. He was able to today to create his own scoring opportunities from all over the floor. Glenn finished with 25 points in the game vs Big Shots Tri-Cities in an opening round victory. LaQuaree suits up during the high school at Lower Richland HS for Head Coach JoJo English.
Gresham Shows Some Moments:
AJ Gresham AJ Gresham 6'0" | CG Cathedral Academy | 2025 State SC got eligible last season at Cathedral Academy after transferring in late. Gresham is a very athletic guard for the Coastal Select program based out of Charleston area. AJ is an athletic guard who really swarms the ball on both ends of the floor. He has the ability to knockdown jumpers on the perimeter or simply race the ball to the basket. AJ will be counted on heavily this season for the Generals to make a run in SCISA Class 2A for Head Coach Blake Ferguson.
