Jerard Gariet
Gariet was a big time impact player in his teams contest against Team Temple. Jerard showed ability to facilitate the offense as well as score the rock in a variety of ways. During the course of this game, Gariet led the Rockstarz on a run when he was just hitting from everywhere on the offensive end, including jumpers over defenders from midrange and three point land, as well as driving to the basket and finishing efficiently through contact. Jerard possesses phenomenal court awareness on both ends of the floor and plays with great passion and heart. There is no reason he should not be considered a prospect for the collegiate level! Look out for Gariet to continue his momentum further into the summer.
Brett was probably the most impressive player I was able to watch this weekend as he decimated the defense throughout every game he played in. Norton is able to shoot the ball from deep and drive to the rim at an efficient rate as well as lock up on defense and notch several steals. I love how Brett is the type of player who will hustle for every loose ball and is always positive and encouraging towards teammates. He even took a hard fall in the middle of the game trying to dunk over an opposing defender, was down for several minutes on the court, and still got back up and finished the game! This just displays the type of passion needed to play this sport at a high level and Brett possesses all the qualities needed for an elite player to make an impact.
Dre Charlot
Dre Charlot
Dre was outstanding in his team’s game against Houston Hoops AAS on Saturday. He showed off his tremendous speed and ability to beat his matchup to the rim on the offensive end, converting several and ones at the free throw line as well. Charlot has great facilitating ability to run the offense and is able to speed up or slow down the pace at will. One thing I like about Dre’s game is how vocal he is on the defensive end and is continuously working every day trying to get better. He was easily the loudest one on the court when he was in the game and this came in clutch when he would propel his team to go on a run by notching several deflections or steals on defense. Coaches, if you’re looking for a hard nosed player who plays the game the right way and is not afraid to get physical, look no further than this 2025 guard.
Jacob May
Jacob May
Jacob May was possibly the best facilitator on the floor at this tournament. He plays with a fast paced style of play and this helps his teammates as well, being able to set up in the flow of the game and score at will as well as defend the basketball. Jacob showed he can beat the defense from every level of the floor scoring in the paint, midrange, as well as some long range bombs as well. May is a wonder to watch on the offensive end as he always knows where his teammates will be and sets them up with great ease in the right spot to score. Jacob is a fun prospect to check out as he plays the game with such great fundamentals that there’s not much to pick apart his game. Coaches, keep your eye on May as he continues to up his level of play this summer!
