This week we will be providing who has the highest stock in the Class of 2026 and 2027. If you have a player who deserves to be recognized on this list please send @RossVDG14 a direct message on Twitter. Here is our second edition of stock risers for the Class of 2026:
The 6-4 rising sophomore shooting guard can display a variety of talents while out on the basketball court, whether it’s his attack for the rim or his persistent passing. Palmer has a great feel for the game and has a high IQ when the basketball is in his hands. He is a sneaky athlete who can score in a variety of ways and is unafraid to attack the rim finishing against bigger defenders. Remember this name as he will be a key player in the North Florida area for the next three years.
The 5-9 freshman may be underrated because of his size, but his willingness to attack the basket and finish off bigger defenders proves he can be a star in the making. He is exceptionally quick when he has the basketball in his hands and forces defenders to have a hard time staying in front of him. Ambrose is normally a pass-first point guard but has the ability to shoot the 3 if he has the space and confidence. Ambrose averaged 8.1 points per game and shot 44 percent from beyond the arc last season as a freshman for St. Thomas Aquinas.
Highlights
The 6-0 point guard has huge upside going into his sophomore season as he is a stat-stuffer whether it’s his scoring on the offensive end or getting steals/deflections with his length on the defensive end. Clements is a true three-level scorer who turns his scoring in bunches based off his defense. He is a wiry guard who should make an impact for his team heading into his sophomore season.

Donovan Gaines
Donovan Gaines
The 6-2 rising sophomore combo guard has all the tools and plays a mature game beyond his years. Gaines can impact the game in a variety of ways whether it’s his finishing around the rim or knocking down the open 3 on the offensive end. His defensive versatility might be one of his underrated features as he can guard multiple positions and is a proven winner. Expect him to play a big role heading into his sophomore season for Wiregrass Ranch.
The 6-1 guard is super shifty and skilled where he can shoot it from anywhere on the floor. He is also unafraid to get his teammates involved in the action where he is coming off a freshman season where he led the team averaging four assists per game. He has taken a big leap and should start receiving some recruitment interest going into his sophomore season.

The 6-2 rising sophomore guard has a skillset beyond his years, as he has a smooth outside shot and can score in a variety of ways. His ability to keep defenders honest has also spoke volumes about his game and can become a viable threat in the next few years. His defensive ability is what stands out to me as he has elusive quickness and can get to his spots. McFadden currently holds an offer from NJIT but expect more schools to start calling his way in the next couple years.

The 6-5 rising sophomore wing is long, athletic and extremely bouncy where he can finish at the front of the rim with no flaws. His touch in the paint has improved as the summer has rolled on and is expecting to play a big role this upcoming season for Martin County who look to get back into the Final Four for the second time in three years. His ability to finish off missed shots and absorb contact shows that he has gotten stronger on the interior as well. He currently holds an offer from Bethune-Cookman which will not be his last offer as he’s just going into his sophomore season.
