PH NorCal wasn’t able to see all of our prospects, but we did manage to see a couple of standouts from the area. Here we have 2025’s who played well while we were in attendance.
He’s starting to understand at 6’8 he can have an impact on the game. DeGirolamo is playing up on a competitive Team California 17U squad. He serves as the man in the middle. He has work to do, but as Summer concludes he’s gained valuable experience and playing time against players his size. He now understands the physicalness that comes with it. He has some tools to work with. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Highlights
Ackerman has recently been playing up with Arsenal Elite 17U. He seems to be holding his own with this group finding ways to contribute when he’s on the court. At 6’2 he has good foot speed, he gave effort on the defensive side of the ball, he had a couple of blocks. He didn’t waste dribbles, made good passes up, and across the court. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Loud started playing 17U recently giving good minutes off the bench. The hard playing guard has some scoring abilities, taking it strong to the basket, and finishing in traffic when the opportunity presents itself. He gives good effort on the defensive side of the ball staying close and making it tough for scorers and ball handlers. He’ll play at Moreau Catholic next season.
As the saying goes, he plays with a motor. Jones goes out and plays the game regardless of what you call it. He gives you what he’s got. He has a skill-set that’s improving, along with speed, and toughness to go get buckets, He’s a tough rebounder at the 16U level, he defends inside and out. He gets into the paint, he has an improving pull-up off the dribble. He’s a rising prospect.
Combs standing 6’5 has plenty of bounce and length to block shots and go get rebounds out of his area. He’s quick on the jump, you can throw lobs, he’ll go get it. His offensive skills haven’t quite caught up yet but he can effect the game on the defensive side of the ball.
Lavrenov showed up in Vegas playing up on the 17U squad of Lakeshow Elite 17’s. He’s a rising prospect in this class working to expand his skill set away from the basket. Standing 6’7 he’s effects the game with his post play. He’s looking to improve his ball handling, passing and drives to the paint working from the perimeter. He has the range to knock down 3’s.
