Well by three minutes into the second half, everybody was watching Amarillo Nets vs BDH Elite. You have the bigs getting chippy, the crowd getting feisty, and big shot after big shot. We can’t waste any time let’s get into who showed out in the 16u championship game, where BDH Elite escaped with a close victory.
BDH ELITE
Brought the fire to the match up ! Tough, physical forward that bring thrives in rough environments. True competitor on the court. His matchup against Dawson Heider Dawson Heider 6’8″ | C Randall | 2025 TX gave us 90’s basketball vibes. After the game they shook hands, and heard Steen-Gix say, ” its all in compeititon.” High-motor player with intensity.
You can tell he live to knock down momentum changing shots. Kept getting to his spot creating enough separation for his release. Hard for defenders to contest shot because of the elevation he gets when pulling up. Bulking up will do him wonders as he’ll be able to bump defenders creating more space for his jumpshot. One of the few players I’ve seen that have spots in the midrange.
Hansen shooting ability came through clutch in the championship. Important aspect of shooting is conditioning, hence moving without the ball. His ability to relocate proved inevitable in the closing minutes of the game. Make sure his feet is set before he shoots.

Love watching west Texas programs play because of how they play the game the right way, but Jaxon brings an excitement to the game. Talk about tough shot-making, but thats exactly why Jason displayed in key moments. Have a suave element to his game. Now that I’m typing this, Toniolli knew how to get to his hotspot in the clutch. Hit a shot to tie the game, then gave them their lead. Plays like his life depends on it !
Became a fan simply because of the energy he brings to the game. Clapping when his opponents start taunting and the crowd starts getting rowdy; he lives for high intensity games. That energy led to creating extra possessions for his team, and and-one putbacks. Those putbacks kept his team within range until they took the lead. Even when they lost he became valuable in the post because of his footwork and ability to score downlow.

Jacory Fields
The physique of Fields stands out, more distinct are his broad shoulders. Stocky built frame guard that gets to the paint. The first half he was a headache for BDH Elite consistently getting to the free throw line. Use his broad shoulders to bump defenders out the way. Handle contact well on the dribble and finishing at the basket.
