Trenton was running with the Stars this weekend in Las.Vegas and Skyline has a lot to look forward to because he is a catch and shoot snipper. If you put him in a situation where teams have to help in the gap or have to dig even he is a player you can place in that help area because he will hit from a high percentage. You can see the potential in his game. Stay tuned on him as he might have a chance to get some run next year.
Highlights
The do it all guard was tuff! Not only was he effective on the offensive end, he was a stopper on the defensive end. He is a player that is turning the corner and a lot of it has to do with the trust his high school coaches had to play him early as a freshman against some tough competition and his AAU team playing a loaded schedule. Junior plays with a chip on his shoulder and he had a monstrous dunk on Sunday as he caught a one handed lob and a poor soul decided to run into the play and that is when Junior caught a viscous body.
This kid is nice and he does somethings that might get overlooked, so let’s start with his inside positioning. He gets low and uses a wide base and gives his perimeter players a target . He is able to use his oft hand to hold the defender in place. When he does get it he is strong going over his left shoulder. The little turn around hook is not bad at all. When he starts to learn to walk his defenders down and quickly turn he will get that ball faster. In time when he is able to go over both shoulders he will be more unpredictable on the blocks.
Talk about a player moving up the stock board on college coaches big boards but Dean is likely moving up the National Rankings as well. He has continued to impress since that big game where he gave it to Campbell Hall and Bryce James. Dean is a versatile player especially when he is shooting 40% + from beyond the arc at 6’7. Really like what he gave us this past weekend.
