VISAA Live Preview: NC Prospects (Part 1)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The June scholastic live periods are getting underway starting the weekend of June 16-18, and the DMV will be a must stop for college coaches. The annual DMV Live at DeMatha, Virginia Live Period Shootout (VISAA) and Alexandria City and the first ever VA Live by the VHSL will take place at Saint James, all within a 30 mile radius of each other.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We will take the next week or so breaking down the many prospects for coaches to take a look at in these events, and there's a TON of them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's a look at part one of the prospects from NC at the Virginia Live Period Shootout we expect to make noise at the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='982145' first='Lewis' last='Walker'] | 6'7” WF | Winston Salem Christian '24</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":1969795,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/05/Walker-Lewis.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/05/Walker-Lewis.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1969795" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walker is having a monster summer with Team Loaded VA, showing he's one of the most well rounded wings you'll come across and he is a walking mismatch with his blend of size and skill. He is shifty off the bounce with a good first step and he changes speed well to get in the paint, he's an athletic finisher with good body control in traffic, he excels in transition with his speed and playmaking ability and he makes plays on the defensive end too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
