SPRINGFIELD, VA -- VA Live resumed with a full slate of games on Saturday at The St. James. Here are some standouts I observed during my time in the gym.

Melo Baines - Lake Taylor

Baines is a tremendous space eater who moves bodies in the paint at 6'8". He rebounds and finishes at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963394' first='Zaevion' last='Cleveland'] - Landstown

Cleveland is a rising sophomore wing who is developing nicely. He is a terrific slasher and an explosive finisher. Cleveland demonstrates a high basketball IQ as well. He is a good decision-maker and a vocal communicator.

[player_tooltip player_id='1759750' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] - Tuscarora

Johnson is a quick, skilled lefty who is very shifty with the ball and gets to his spots. He is dynamic offensively because he can hurt you both as a scorer or a playmaker.

Cam Pacheco - Spotswood

Pacheco is a nice all-around player who makes plays on both ends of the floor but can also score when he needs to. He is at his best when making guys around him better which he does naturally.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242390' first='Noah' last='Limbago'] - Woodson

One word to describe Limbago? Productive. He is an athletic finisher for the Cavs who helps clean the glass and distributes the ball efficiently.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489114' first='Ronier' last='Peters'] - Fairfax

Peters is developing into a coach on the floor at the lead guard spot. He is a physical guard who locks down his opponent defensively, handles the ball under pressure, and consistently makes winning plays all over the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494111' first='Masiah' last='Stevens'] - Woodside

Stevens is an explosive guard who is the alpha dog on the court for the Wolverines. He is simply relentless on both ends of the floor. Stevens has an engine that runs constantly and doesn't stop until the job is done.

[player_tooltip player_id='2231901' first='Adam' last='Strong-Jacobson'] - B-CC (MD)

Strong-Jacobson is a reliable rebounder and inside finisher for the Barons. He's fundamentally sound with solid footwork and natural touch in the paint.
